Bought a used pedal from their in-person store. Worked fine until the batteries they left in there exploded a few months later - livid that they didn't even bother to take out the last guy's before selling it onto me. (I used it plugged into a rig so never needed to take off the cover)Normally a great shop, but I'm not convinced that they properly check their second hand stock.
I have just spent over 3 hours in the Bournemouth store trying various digital pianos. Tim was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, made us tea and coffee (so kind and very much appreciated) and gave us free range of the piano room for as long as we wanted. Thanks to his product knowledge and experience, I am now considering a model I wouldn’t have looked at otherwise. He never made me feel under any pressure or obligation and I have come home confident that I can make the decision whether to switch from my traditional upright piano to a digital one with full knowledge of what is in my budget and what each model will offer me. Thank you, Tim: your help has been invaluable.
Great service - I ordered a beginner's acoustic guitar pack online for my teenager. The website was easy to use, the price for the pack was £30 less than our nearest music shop offering the same guitar (which was an hours drive away), and so we decided to take the risk and buy online. I don’t tend to write too many reviews but working in sales myself, I know you only tend to hear about the negatives. However, in this instance I’m making the exception.I popped in to AM on the off chance today. I’m looking to trade in a guitar for something new. A young lad behind the counter (I think his name was Luke) was not only very helpful but also incredibly polite. Nothing was too much of an effort for him. Although I didn’t purchase anything (due to lack of stock for us lefties) he took my details and promised to get in touch if anything of interest came in.Customer service is so important in business and the service I received today was faultless.
Bought my 14 year old son a 'JET' stratocaster. This guitar is unbelievable quality for the price (£159.00). The neck is amazing, pick ups sound fantastic and the finish is lush. It played and sounded better than a £500 Fender Mustang that we also tried. The service was just amazing from Richard Malpass. I noticed that the intonation was slightly out. Richard spent a good while assessing the issue, and said he thought the bridge needed moving forward a bit and porobably some better strings would help. He took it straight in to their in house tech Robin and 20 minutes later (after letting me try out a couple of telecasters for myself) the guitar played like a dream with lower action, perfect intonation and new strings at no extra cost. To get that treatment when buying a £159 guitar really blew me away. Fantastic service.
Fantastic in store service and advice, my daughter spent hours trying different guitars and they couldn’t be more helpful. We’ve also ordered online and the prices and service is also excellent even offer a 3 year warranty when you join the free VIP club - Excellent all round can’t fault them!
