The tutors executed the course syllabus…

The tutors executed the course syllabus really well. Matt Andy and Simon were fantastic in the delivery of the course and helped the learners achieve gaining the qualification. I know alot of courses it is hard to implement real life scenarios but I think this course was more of a ticky box exercise to say we've invested in the industry. I don't think many of my class will go on to have a career in telecomms industry off the back of this course in my opinion as it just wasn't real world training. I Also thought the theory focused more on the management side and not so much the installation side. Overall though I actually enjoyed the course and I think that's down to the tutors had me engaged so for me the tutors get 10/10 the course I'd say 5/10

Attended the Level 3 Qualification at the Leeds Centre. Found the course really good. The tutor was exceptional and made it an enjoyable and informative learning environment. Facilities were also very good. Would highly recommend.

To avoid aim2learn

Not a good school. They promise you anything but that isn't true. They receive money from government but this school isn't well organised. They promise looking for you a job but that isn't true. Actually on 30 students one only found temporarily job for Kelly recruitment but this company isn't serious. Pay attention to Nichola McGinnis and to Anika they promise and offer a job to you but that isn't true. They promise you to sustain six weeks of the course and transport and to find a job too but that isn't true because they need money from government if you have universal credit or by you as a private student.

Preston Telecoms course

Attended the Preston course which was well delivered and felt promising for the future. About 70% of the students had left by the time it drew to a close. I think only 1 or 2 people left with a job. As for the guaranteed interview, I know jobs can't be pulled from thin air but this bold claim should probably be reviewed or a timescale should be put on it as I have only spoken to 1 person who moved into a role they were training for. Currently after 7 weeks of trying to find telecoms work myself and others feel let down on what seemed to be a channel into employment.
