I had a really positive experience on this course. If you’re considering joining, I would definitely recommend it. It provides valuable hands-on experience and gives you a clear understanding of how telecommunications work in practice. Even if you’re not planning to pursue a career in this field, it’s still an incredibly insightful experience. You learn a lot, challenge yourself in different situations, and develop strong problem-solving skills while working collaboratively with others.David was an excellent tutor who truly enhanced the whole experience. He was always supportive, patient, and ready to help whenever we faced difficulties. Beyond the teaching itself, he created a positive and encouraging learning environment. We worked hard, but we also had plenty of laughs along the way, which made the experience even more memorable. As a class, we bonded as a team, supported each other through challenges, and built a great sense of teamwork throughout the course.#EASY (IFYKYK)

I completed an eight-week BTEC Level 2 course in Competence for IT and Telecoms. During this time, I was taught by an excellent tutor, Badul, who consistently went above and beyond in his teaching. His support helped me grow significantly in confidence, both personally and in my skills. He also prepared our group exceptionally well by providing practice interview questions ant the end and helping us build confidence for real world situations. Thanks to his dedication, I feel much more ready for future opportunities.Aim2Learn truly has a star on their team.

Excellent course

Have just completed a 5 week bootcamp with Aim2Learn and it has been a great introduction into the telecommunications industry and will help when it comes to applying for trainee roles. Andy has been a very good tutor, very engaging, and patient. Matt who stood in for a week was also excellent. They're both a credit to Aim2Learn. Would recommend the course for anyone looking to learn about the industry or are thinking of a change in career.

Great course

I recently completed this telecoms course and was genuinely impressed. The content was clear, practical, and delivered in a way that made even the more technical subjects easy to understand. The hands-on elements were especially helpful, giving me real confidence in fibre work, testing, and fault-finding.The instructor ( Andrew Cook ) was knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to explain things in detail. Overall, the course has massively improved my skills and understanding of the telecoms industry. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to start or progress in telecoms.

Just completed a BTEC Level 2…

Just completed a BTEC Level 2 Professional Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals and digital skills course. This was a 10 week course of which the digital skills took up 2 weeks of it. The course in some ways felt a little miss sold to me as you were lead to believe there would be more of a practical side of the training but in fact it was mainly a written based course teaching the insides and outs of health and safety legislation data protection acts and procedures within telecoms working. You need to be 100% committed to do this to get to your goal of passing the course. My tutor Danny at Sugarmill was excellent his teaching method was great as he made it easy to understand and if you didn't quite understand anything he was on hand to try another way for you grasp the thing that was being taught. He had good knowledge of the subjects and we had a laugh too, which is always a good thing. I would have given the course 5 stars but the one thing for me that let it down was when doing the digital skills section of the course we were being taught about Word on the computer but didn't have Microsoft Word on the computers but a cheap free version that didn't have the same functions as Word. Sort it out AIM2LEARN and all will be good. Last thing is that part of the course is about updating CVs and profiles to help you get back into work. By doing this and getting my self onto LINKEDIN I've been spotted and managed to find my self a job. You need to put effort in to get anything in life nowadays, so if doing the course try putting the effort in and it could reward you.
