Review Time
About 10 days ago, I was discharged from the hospital. I had my mobile with me but forgot all my credit cards at home. The next day, I realized I needed a few items, so I headed to a store and started my self-checkout. Midway through, I remembered my cards were at home, and only part of my groceries had been scanned. I approached a staff member who had helped me earlier and explained my issue. She kindly reassured me. While I drove home, she rang up my additional items and organized them neatly in my shopping bags, then set my trolley aside until I got back. I was able to pay at the register when I returned. It was such a relief. The staff member was calm and extremely helpful, making for another great shopping experience. Thank you for your support!

The day after discharge I found we needed a few things so I headed for Aldi and started my self check out, Halfway through this I realised my cards were at home. Half my groceries had been checked out only. I approached thelady called Alexa working in my section who had already helped me a bit, and explained my problem. She told me not to worry. While I drove home she had rung up my extra purchases and pack them in my shopping bags(much neater than I did them!) and then put my trolley out of sight till I returned .and I then paid at the till.it was such a help.Alexa was calm and very helpful, and I had anothergreat Aldi experience. I visited the store in Vire Normandy, as I had problems with charging my electric car. A wonderfully kind and patient manager, helped me in every way he could. His name is Paul Antoine. He deserves the highest accolade for customer service. He went out of his way to give me as much reassurance and support as he could. I rate this guy highly. Thank you Paul.
Aldi in France is dreadful. The poor range and low quality of products was shocking compared to the United Kingdom, where it is my go to supermarket with amazing quality comparable to Waitrose and M&S. The branding is different, so I assume it has no connection to Aldi UK?

To often when we use ALDI France the fresh food is far from fresh. They maybe cheaper but the quality is poor. Today three packs of blueberry’s all had rotting fruit in them. I will never shop their again as this is far from the first time. Trop souvent, lorsque nous utilisons ALDI France, les aliments frais sont loin d'être frais. Ils sont peut-être moins chers mais la qualité est médiocre. Aujourd'hui, trois paquets de myrtilles contenaient tous des fruits pourris. Je ne les achèterai plus jamais car c'est loin d'être la première fois
Histeric people (who probably come from that non EU country now) should calm down.If not maybe they should try working in a supermarket and then come back with a review...Aldi is a great store, offering really good prices. The range of products is not that great, but, if you shop there, the bill will be at almost half compared to other supermarkets, especially "the cross-road" supermarket, where for 2 small bags of food, you pay almost 100 euros....The sales are true bargains. I bought a flower, 8 euros, and I went over 3 days and it was reduced to 3 euro and in great shape. In lidl they give them for 1 euro when the plant is almost dead.Sure it's not perfect but when you make such economies... Whatthahell...?
FRENCH ALDI ,WHAT A JOKE ,WHAT YOU SHOP FOR MAY BE THERE OR MAY NOT .ALSO LOADS OF STUFF THAT NEVER GETS SOLD UNTIL IT GETS MARKED DOWN TO WHAT IT COST.STAFF SPENDING VALUABLE TIME SORTING REAMS OF RUBBISH OUT, IN FRANCE YOU HAVE TO TRAVEL TO 3 SUPERMARKETS OR PAY FAR TO MUCH ,AS THEY WATCH EACH OTHER AND KEEP CHANGING THE PRICES ,AS THEY KNOW THE OLD PEOPLE TRUST THEM, at least DTurpin had the Curtis to were a mask ,,,,o for a one stop shop like sainsburys.you would not be-leave how bad France is,,,,,SHELF PACKING DONE AT DAY LINES OF PEOPLE AT EMPTY TILLS ,THE CHINEASE ARE WATCHING AND WAITING TO COME ,THEN THE YELLOW VEESTS WILL SMASH THER OWN PROPERTY UP,YOU COULD NOT MAKE IT UP COULD YOU ,HA HA
