I have bought two RJ Speed kits from here. One was missing parts, the other was missing parts. So they're taking things from the damn boxes, and leaving the consumer to foot the bill. Once, I even ordered a Tamiya Grasshopper, and they sent me an ENTIRE Tamiya C11 touring car. I did not want that! It was even worth $100 MORE than the Grasshopper! They took 4 months to respond, and by then, I wasn't in a place to return the car anymore. They are so incredibly dedicated to stealing, lying, and being poorly managed, that I can't help but wonder if this place is a social experiment to see if they can get people to stop liking RC cars by being a horrible enough of a company. Go somewhere else. ANYWHERE else. Even AliExpress, you're less likely to get scammed or experience mind-boggling incompetence there. The fact they still operate in the United States is truly a testament to our complete and utter lack of consumer protection laws.

Gave me a shipping line as pay this extra amount to get faster priority mail........NEVER SENT PRIORITY. Next some items went into backorder AFTER I ordered them......they even asked for the upcharge and secured that.....then 2 days go by and poof.....backordered, with no email or anything......but took the payment
Absolutely fantastic customer service. The A Main team bent over backwards to make sure I got the item I ordered in time, and they responded extremely quickly to any queries I sent their customer services team. This is the best customer experience I’ve had in any industry.
I called customer service regarding an order that had an issue with usps and had been sitting in a different city for 2 days when it was in my city the previous day. The answer I received from customer service was it was shipped first class and it was only a day late at this moment. His lack of concern and unprofessional attitude will make me go elsewhere for my rc purchases.

This was not an isolated case—of the four Mike T foam airplanes I’ve owned, all have been defective. Most recently, the propeller on a supposedly new Sport Cub S fell off right at takeoff during its maiden flight. My wife and a group of kids witnessed the propeller literally falling off mid-air, which was both embarrassing and frustrating.Based on this repeated experience, I strongly recommend caution when purchasing foam airplanes from Horizon Hobby due to consistent quality control issues. My name is Joseph Todaro, I am 77 years of age, and a U.S. Army Veteran.When I unboxed my new Sport Cub S UMX RC airplane (third one of four) from Horizon Hobby (Mike T), I immediately saw it was unusable-the wiring harness was jammed inside the cargo bay and appeared glued to the fuselage, making it impossible to fly. I've taken clear, professional photos of the problem, which I've posted in my Google Review.This isn't the first time I've received a damaged or incomplete product from Mike T at Horizon Hobby. I was furious and extremely frustrated. When I called Mike T, his attitude felt dismissive, arrogant, and disrespectful. He gave me only generic, scripted responses. After 40 years at IBM as a Senior Software Engineer, I know this level of customer service would never have been tolerated in my field.Mike's quick, canned answer-basically, "We don't build them, we just sell them" —tells me Horizon Hobby has no real quality control. At the very least, Horizon Hobby should randomly inspect every ten to fifteen foam products for quality before shipping.This experience has made me reconsider shopping with Horizon Hobby, unless Mike T is not involved in my customer service. Otherwise, I’d gladly give my business to AMain Hobbies, as I have before, just to avoid dealing with Mike T. I didn't even mind paying a bit more for shipping, and the planes I bought from AMain Hobbies were high quality and problem-free.
