Review Time
This is only good for extra cash, but the time needed on the app to secure a job is excessive! The support is lacking, routes are tough, and they assign parcels that barely fit in your vehicle. The pay rates are quite poor. Action needs to be taken.
Only good for pocket money! However, the time spent on the app to get a job feels endless! The support is inadequate, the routes are difficult, and the parcels they assign often won’t even fit in your vehicle. The payment rates are quite low. Something needs to change.
We are only compensated for a time block, which is frustrating. I would like to attempt deliveries again, but the pay does not reflect this. We are responsible for our own expenses, and the compensation does not cover waiting for customers. My last blocks took about 45 minutes longer than the time allotted. I delivered all my parcels but was told one was not delivered. Why would anyone not deliver one parcel after successfully delivering the rest? The system penalizes drivers for late deliveries and missing parcels even when we do our best.
On 14/12/2025, I experienced very poor treatment from a young female staff member. She shouted at me, and when I asked her to stop, she responded with an attitude. I requested to speak to the manager, who defended the staff member and was also rude. I have lodged a complaint with customer service but am still waiting for a response regarding the unacceptable behavior of their staff at the hub.
Is it a game for drivers to ring the doorbell and leave before the customer arrives? This has happened multiple times! What if the customer doesn’t hear the bell? Why leave instructions if they won’t be followed? I don’t care about the drivers’ issues; they should deliver parcels properly or be replaced after multiple complaints.
I returned home to find the driver nearby. When I asked for my parcel, he claimed there was a note on the door, which there wasn’t. He said my parcel was behind the bin, but it wasn’t there either. I checked with neighbors, and nothing was found. It seems my parcel has been stolen. Another neighbor had the same issue—beware of the drivers!
It’s impossible to secure any blocks; bots have taken over. Amazon doesn’t address this issue. For months, I’ve seen a list of available blocks disappear in seconds. It’s disappointing. Those who don’t use bots deserve respect, but if you want to compete, you might need to use them as Amazon seems unable to stop this.
At the new depot, I witnessed favoritism firsthand. I saw an officer giving a cage to a driver who seemed to know her well, while I was left with a more challenging route. Complaints about this behavior receive automated responses, and it feels like favoritism is overlooked. When will there be a proper way for drivers to report such injustices?
Driving long distances often means covering over 100 miles for poor pay. Typical blocks pay around £50 for 3-4 hours, but you may need to drive far just to reach the depot. People often don’t answer the door, and you’ll be blamed if a parcel is left. The support team gives generic responses and shows no regard for mental health. If you try to help by delivering safely, you risk being accused of trespassing. It’s been a frustrating experience.
