The meal was delightful, and the service was satisfactory until the moment we settled the bill, which amounted to £420. Despite my partner's polite inquiry about the possibility of continuing to the bar to finish our bottle of Veuve Clicquot, our request was disregarded. Given the substantial cost of the meal, the overall service fell short of expectations. In comparison to the unparalleled luxury and service experienced at Café de Paris in Monte Carlo, this establishment pales in comparison especially considering the cost. They are wanting to be high class restaurant but they lack many elements to be high class. The live performers' performance was lacking, and their attire was not in accordance with Amazonica's dress code, which requires customers to dress smartly. Amazonica you are over priced, cest tout! Pretentious London behavior we won't come back and I rather fly to Monaco than come back here. For the cost there is much better out there for example Ivy Asia, Nobu, Galvin La Chapel or Franchises like Cote.
This is a real shame. The food was incredible, the best salad I've had in my life but the service was horrendous. I saw that this restaurant had bad reviews for service but chose to ignore it. I wouldn't come back again simply due to the service. Not really sure why it takes 25 minutes to get a glass of wine whilst the waiters stand next to us sniggering at me and my friends. So much more I could say but to summarise, either the staff hate their jobs or it was a big joke that we weren't in on.
Decor and vibe was really good. Starters tasty but mains were way way too salty. Band too loud to hear others speak but otherwise good. We had a 6.45 table under ‘Slow’. When they say you get 2hrs .. you get two hours. The guy was hustling us off the table 10mins in advance and trying to get us to move downstairs to the club (at 8.45pm 🥴).
Awful. Booked a table for my 40th, sat for 10 mins without even getting a menu had to get up and ask for one. Everyone else was seated and given one straight away. Took a further 20 minutes to have a drinks order taken again after complaining no one had spoken to us since we were seated. The wait staff weren’t busy just seemed to be deliberately ignoring us. Champagne was flat had to request another glass and my cocktail was underwhelming and not at all nice tasting. We decided to not eat there as the whole experience put me off and I wouldn’t have enjoyed my special day. The staff couldn’t have cared less that we were made to feel that way. Went two doors up to sexy fish and had the most amazing meal and experience. Would avoid amazonico at all costs.

It's disappointing that they were rushing us, which certainly put a damper on the dining experience. Additionally, it's concerning that they were slow in clearing your table before dessert. This gave us the feeling of being ignored.waiting for the suprise birthday cake, which ended up not being a suprise anymore as i had to complain and urge them to bring it several times out of annoyance.Although it looked nice in there. it was also a bit cold in there.While the decor can certainly contribute to the ambiance of a restaurant, it's important for the atmosphere to feel inviting and comfortable for diners. A cold atmosphere can make it difficult to fully enjoy the dining experience, even if the food is decent, which it was.in the end we all said we will never return again.they are many other posh resturants out there. like scott, in mayfair, which is 100 times beter than amazonicoAmazonico is just hyped from social media, what a massive dissapointment we had.Amazonico if you are reading this - It's important for restaurants to consistently provide excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere in order to create a positive impression and encourage repeat business.
The restaurant itself is worth 5 stars but the service from the waitress rushing us wasn’t. My partner was late because he couldn’t get earlier from work and when he arrived, the waitress said to us “you need to order quickly because you are late”. Not a proper way to welcome/greet a customer willing to spend money. The food was alright. The interior is amazing.
