Finally a product worth the price

I only ordered out tonight, but I have to say the togo experience was precise and pleasant. The person at the station didn't know that it was me and my wife's 19th Anniversary. We just wanted to spend the day together and maybe go out to eat. Well, of course that plan wasn't going to happen. Hence, the Red Robin call. Everything was made exactly as we ordered it. My wife is pleased and that Bacon & Bleu Burger was wonderful. Thank you for doing something with pride.

If you're ever considering going to Red, think twice

If you're ever considering going to Red Robin in San Dimas Ca,, I would advise you to think twice and this is why. It was September 29th 2025 when I went to Red Robin to enjoy my yearly free birthday burger, as I've been doing for the last 3 or 4 years. I've never understood how they can give you the free Burger without even asking me for my ID, but they did year after year if I went in by myself or with friends. It was approximately 8:00 p.m. when I arrived, as I walked in , I was greeted and seated. Then I was greeted by Drew the waiter Who was the only waiter there. He was not only taking orders, but also busking as well. I cannot say enough good things about him. He was everything and more that you would expect a waiter to be. I told him that it was my birthday, , and he replied Great, Happy Birthday, then you get a free Hamberger. He asked me which one would you like? I said it would be easier if I just told you what I wanted on it as usual, and he agreed. So I did. I got the burger it wasn't quite as good as always, but it was still pretty good. Throughout the meal Drew asked me if I needed anything, and was always there if I did. Drew went on to tell me how I would also get a free Sunday, free Burger, and free bottomless Chose of sides. The problem came when it was time to pay, I was having trouble dealing with that automatic pay thing they've got on each table. I noticed that my order was being charged for along with a entertainment fee which I couldn't figure out what that was for. So I called Drew to the table, and asked him why I was being billed for my meal? He worked on that machine trying to remove it for a while, and ask me a few questions. He was unable to take it off my bill, and said that he was going to talk to the manager to find out why. He came back and tried to explained that this year a new program had started, but I didn't quite understand what he was talking about. Something about having to come in once a year and spend at least $10 (Which I had), but I would have to pay for my meal this time. I told him that he has been saying everything is free from the time I got there, and I don't feel I should have to pay for this since it was sprung on me at the end of my meal. He very nicely and calmly ask me if I would like to speak to the manager, which I replied yes. Suddenly there was a man standing next to my table, staring at me like he was getting ready to fight me with a major attitude. His name was Brandon. As he stood there staring at me and not saying a word, with a stance saying ,what you have some sort of a sort of problem? So I finally ask him if we had a problem with the meal ? As he spoke he said things to try and intimidate me, and make me feel guilty. He was the rudest most uncooperative person I have ever met, especially since I was a customer. I could tell that to him the customers was always wrong, and he was right. Everyone at the table and I tried explaining to him what I've done in the past, and he accused me of lying, and told me that he's been working there for 3 years and there's no way that that could have happened . I was trying to stay as calm as possible as he rant and raved on about how I was lying. This went on for a while with him trying to make me confess that I was lying. He explained the new program which I didn't quite understand, so I asked him so does that mean that this meal is free, or not? He replied no you have to pay for this , as though I was some sort of vagrant. I said this is misrepresentation because from the time I got here until now this meal was represented as free. I told him if I knew that I had to pay for this meal I would have left, and not eaten here . As we went back and forth he would not back down, and continue to call me a liar. He was so rude, I couldn't understand how anyone in their right mind would hire someone like this especially to be manager who has to deal with the public. This manager was just downright rude to me. It was a horrible experience, and I will never go back there again. He ruined my entire birthday along with embarrassing me in front of my friends. He finally agreed to take my order off the bill, but did it in such a way as to say never come back here again Red Robin needs to know that they have an employee who's acting as manager, and representing them in this manner , it was atrocious and totally unbelievable . If the company doesn't know about Brandon's Behavior towards customers, it was time they did because it was unbelievable. Me and my friends will never go back, or suggest this restaurant to anyone else because of our experience. Everyone at the table kept telling him the meal was supposed to be free because it has always been that way in the past, and that's the way it was represented from the beginning that day, but he would not listen to anyone. My experience was worse than terrible, especially on my birthday.

I’ve given Red Robin more than enough…

I’ve given Red Robin more than enough chances, but the service has consistently been disappointing. Not only is the staff inattentive, but my order is never correct—time after time. It’s frustrating to pay for a meal you can’t even enjoy because basic accuracy and customer care are missing. I won’t be going back, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend Red Robin to anyone looking for a reliable dining experience.

Is no service, good service?

Had a gift card and went to our local Red Robin (Spokane Valley, WA) to use it--and to have some tasty burgers, of course. We were seated, handed menus and left alone...for over 30 minutes we tried to get someone to wait on us. In disgust, we left. Spouse checked with employee at the entry area desk and was told we had to order from the table kiosk (little computer module on table). Interestingly, I had attempted to use that device--in frustration of not getting any employee to wait on us--to order but got nowhere except for a screen showing drink and food refills. Odd that we were never told about the method of ordering, nor shown "how to"! Needless to say, we will never go back to that restaurant, and, as well, we have told many other people about our negative experience there.

Don’t order the family burger bundle!

The burgers are always so good with the single meals but when you order the family bundle , the meat is rubbery and the family bundle burgers taste nothing like the single meal burgers. Honestly it was a waste of money because none of us ate them. That is the only issue I have but it’s aBIG one. The fries are always good, and they reheat beautifully in the air fryer! The service was great, and the staff was very nice as well. If I had to rate this visit , If I were to rate this solely on the burgers, I would rate it 0 stars because, as I said, none of us ate the burgers, but , the bottomless fries were perfect, and the staff was nice. So I’ll give it 2 stars

First off, not greeted

First off I wasn't greeted until 5 minutes after arriving, and I sat myself down in the bar. My usual Server Preston, wasn't there because he graduated and went off to another city in Texas! He always KNEW what I wanted, and HE KNEW how to serve a Blue Moon beer, with an orange slice on the glass. How hard is that???? The girl that works in the bar is young and inexperienced!! So she drops the orange in my glass. I ordered the tsunami shrimp appetizer. I told her to substitute plank fries for the chips. I hate chips. My food was brought to me with a side of chips. I told her I guess they don't know how to read her ticket. Then I ordered another Blue Moon beer, same thing happened...but I seen her just plop the orange slice in my glass. This is really poor attitude and service. I was on my way home from work, but I feel like I need to check into another restaurant when going home after work. The tsunami shrimp was overcooked and hard to eat. If you can't do better than this, there are going to be less patrons. Too bad Preston left. He made this place better by being personable and a great bartender!! This place has gone downhill. Sucks. I loved this place.

The burger was absolutely delicious

The burger was absolutely delicious! The sweet potato fries were cold. We had a coupon that said 9.99 for a burger, endless fries, and an endless drink. We were charged 10.69 for the burgers and then 3.59 for my drink. I would have said something to the waiter, but I was in the restroom while my husband paid the bill.Very disappointing!

Expensive garbage at Red Robin

I had a disappointing experience at Red Robin. The prices were shockingly high for what you get—burgers and sides cost way more than comparable places, and the value just isn’t there. The service was slow; we waited far too long for our food, and the staff seemed disorganized. Worst of all, the employees were rude and unhelpful, making us feel unwelcome, especially my kids, who were upset by the attitude. I expected a family-friendly vibe, but this was a letdown. Won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend.
