This company is a SCAM!! They stole my money, months worth of payments only to say oh we don’t cover uber, lyft etc… complete garbage. When i purchased my policy, the agent didn’t mention anything. Anyway, pure garbage. Go to a reputable company. If these waste of life pos give me my money back i will change my review

I have two vehicles covered by this company. The first vehicle covered was a 2012 Ranger Rover Sport. I signed on to the policy on October 18, 2025 and I had a MIL light that was trigerred on this vehicle around December 10, 2026. I took it to my mechanic and mechanic identified the cause for the MIL light and filed a claim. American Dream Auto Protect rejected the claim indicating that it was a pre existing condition. The MIL light was trigered after more than 2000 miles and after close to two months since I bought the policy. I explained to them that a 10 year old vehicle can develop an issue anytime but their focus is collecting premiums without seriously resolving customer issues.
Recently I had another issue with my second vehicle which also happens to be more than 10 years old. It has some engine coolant leak issue. Again I took it to a mechanic to get it checked and the mechanic filed a claim as the issue needs to be taken care of. This time again the claim was rejected though I have been paying premium for the last three months. The reason provided was I hadn't driven the vehicle enough. So in summary, I would highly recommend you avoid buying auto warranty from this company as they will have some technicality or line item in their contract to reject the claim. This company's focus is not on resolving customer issues but rather collecting premiums without addressing required fixes for which the customer bought the warranty. Avoid buying warranty from this company.

I feel deceived by the company.

I feel deceived by the company. I purchased a policy and the representative assured me that if I encountered any issues, I could reach out to him directly, and he would personally manage my concerns. However, less than a week later, when I called the number he provided, it was disconnected. I had a claim regarding control arms denied due to being old and having wear and tear! Isn't that what the warranty is for? I would never engage in business with this company again. To potential buyers, I have one piece of advice: DON'T!!! I am giving one star because I can't rate it negatively or with zero stars.

Disappointing Experience with Extended Warranty

I enrolled in an extended auto warranty for my vehicle when it had 81,000 miles, hoping for peace of mind against major issues due to the high mileage. After signing up with a representative, I was told there would be a one-month grace period for claims. My vehicle was running well, and I added over 2,000 miles in the following month and a half. However, in late November, I noticed a warning light, so I informed my mechanic that I had warranty coverage for major repairs. They diagnosed the problem and identified the necessary parts for repair. It took the company six business days to review my claim, only to reject it based on details I was never informed about. They claimed the issue was pre-existing without even inspecting the vehicle, which seemed like a tactic to avoid payment. How can anyone prove an issue is pre-existing without a proper evaluation? The warning light continues to flash, and despite paying premiums for over two months and being ready to cover a deductible, I'm left in a difficult situation. In summary, this is a company I wouldn't recommend, as I never expected my claim to be denied so far beyond the grace period. Be cautious if you decide to sign up with them, as they seem to find reasons to deny necessary repairs. If my issue had occurred just days earlier, they indicated they would have approved the repairs. Their strategy appears to be collecting multiple months' premiums and high deductibles before evaluating claims.

Avoid their warranty at all costs!

Whatever you do, steer clear of their warranty. They will find every excuse to avoid covering a repair. It’s been three weeks and my vehicle is still not repaired. When you call, you just get the runaround. The dealership submitted all the necessary documents, and now they want an inspector involved. Why? There’s a clear issue with the transfer case. Best to stay away, as they seem unwilling to honor claims.

Expectations vs. Reality with Auto Protection Service

The auto protection service did not meet my expectations. They received an invoice from a dealership but chose not to cover certain labor and parts costs. The deductible is misleading; it's actually the total cost minus what they are willing to reimburse. I ended up paying $200 out of my own pocket because they deemed the labor costs excessive and some parts unnecessary.
