AVOID THIS SCAM, ABSOLUTE GARBAGE, FAKE JEWELRY!
I bought a platinum ring with a diamond for EUR 1279.20 , that turned out to be silver and moissanite - which is in reality about 30X times cheaper, no value and I have an certified assay report to back up my claims.
Several other people have pointed out similar concerns but I have real proof.
The good reviews are either fake or the people dont know that they have been cheated.
Here is how the scam works:
Firstly, items are not shipped by Amour Diamant (there is no such company), but by Shanghai Taozhi Jewelry Co. Ltd.
You can find them on Alibaba and see that they sell silver and moissanite engagement rings, WITH SAME IMAGES FOR 30X LESS! This Chinese seller doesnt even have white gold and diamond jewelry!
Secondly - when you buy a real diamond that is authentic, you are entitled to receive a physical certificate that exists only in 1 copy, so it cant be duplicated.
When you buy from Amour, they send their own digital version of a certificate for a diamond that exists, so that it can be verified on IGI website, but that diamond has been sold long time ago, and this certificate number is not for your stone.
This way, they are able to present their stone as if it was authentic, but both the stone and this file is worthless for you. Think of it like someone sending a copy of your passport with their photo in it.
I contacted International Gemological Institute (IGI) and they confirmed me that all certificates should be physical, not digital.
Thirdly - I asked DHL for invoice and import declaration and invoice was from Chinese supplier for USD 57.14 :)
Furthermore, when I asked for a refund/return, I was provided 2 options for return addresses.
The first option was in the UK. When I googled the address, it showed that it belongs to MyUKMailbox - a mail forwarding service.
The other address was a residential address in a small town in Germany. :)))
This did not convince me that my return would reach the seller so I pressed for a refund while keeping the useless item. In the end I was able to negotiate 1000 EUR refund and to keep the item.
I also had opened a dispute on Klarna and had invoice and assay report to support my case but I didnt want to risk the whole amount by entrusting verdict to the Klarna dispute team.
I take this 279 EUR loss a learning opportunity and to help you all not make the same mistakes.
Im glad I used Klarna, because otherwise there is even less leverage on the seller.
I will also be contacting Klarna, Shopify and UK and EU consumer protection agencies to take action against Amour Diamant scammers.

I bought a lab-grown diamond ring from Amour Diamant for my engagement, and it exceeded my expectations. The diamond sparkles beautifully, the quality feels premium, and it came in elegant packaging. Delivery was on time, which made the whole experience smooth.
Don't buy anything from this store! I ordered white gold earrings, for 600 eur and received silver ones, I checked it at the jeweler's, after the purchase did I find opinions of other people with the same case. I wanted to use the 60-day return guarantee but the staff keeps putting me off.I have written more than 10 emails and I still have not received a shipping letter for return or even an address where I can return the product by myself.I only get answers that a return is not possible because I received a great discount and I can only exchange the product but still didn't sent shipping. besides, I don't want anything from them anymore because they sell silver, which you can bought for 25 eur. I know what white gold is, it looks like silver. I went to a jeweler with your earrings, who carefully checked the material and is certain that it is not white gold but silver. stop cheating customers!
This company deceives people, it makes them believe that the ring is made of platinum or gold and diamonds, at the end of it all they send you a document saying that it is 925 silver so as not to pay taxes. They did not take responsibility and cut off my communication every time I complained. They don't give you your money back. only processing them legally. I paid for verification of the material and it was silver with fake stones.
