Recently purchased an Ampere Hilux (a 700c ebike) intended mainly for a new longer road commute, as well as getting out on cycle paths recreationally. I was drawn to Ampere for the good spec components (Shimano parts, decent torque motor and good battery life) plus integrated lights, pannier rack, mudguards etc. at a very reasonable price. I bought directly from Ampere using a cycle to work scheme (Cycle Solutions) and Colin was extremely helpful at putting together a package with a few accessories. Bike arrived quickly by next-day delivery despite being at the other end of the country, was easy for a novice to set up the last 15% that wasn't already assembled, and get out on a test ride the same day. Rides comfortably and has good power, easy to use controls, good stopping power and clean gear shifting. Very impressed with the amount of bike you get for the price.
I wanted a folding bike for my motorhome to make getting into villages and towns easier. I have mobility issues so the easy step through was important to me and the Ampere Alter offered everything I needed. I am very pleased with my new bike and will enjoy clocking up the miles.

After much searching for the right e-bike for me & my partner, we settled on the Ampere HiLux Pro 700c.We were guided exceptionally well by Stewart & Simon at Cycle King/Hawke Cycles Derby to satisfy our needs & with Help from Tom at Ampere our order was adjusted to reflect that.Order placed for 2 bikes with both delivered absolutely on time & handed over efficiently as promised.These guys are exceptionally efficient & knowledgeable without applying any pressure at all.We've only had the bikes for a short while & the weather hasn't been suitable for a good test, but we're extremely pleased with the build quality, specifications & riding so far.Very well done to all!
After much research, I have brought an Ampere ebike. The process was easy with a test ride being organised by Thomas via a shop local to me in Brighton; Baker Street Bikes. It arrived swiftly and although new to me it seems great quality compared to other more expensive bikes in the shop. It's a matt blue/ grey finish and has the rear indicators that I've not seen on other bikes. Really more power than I need with good torque uphill. Comfortable riding position and a very solid build. Great looking bike. You make payment to the shop and there was a very good service answering all queries quickly in a friendly and professional way, thank you Thomas.
Recently bought an Ampere Deluxe E bike through bike to work scheme, from E Bike Centres Leicester. Great service from Gary and all at the E Bike shop. And so far very impressed with the bike. Have only rode 5 miles home but the bike was easy to handle with very effective brakes, great screen, bright lights front and rear (and love the indicators), and nice chunky tyres. Love the grey colour. Overall seems a really good bike.
