A friendly welcome and genuine interest and a very calm atmosphere before even having your hearing test, which is very different to other high street providers. My test was thoroughly explained to me, and as well as being highly professional, she took a personal interest in why my hearing is very important to me. I felt very well looked after throughout the whole experience.
The hearing consultant I met was polite, personable and clearly knowledgeable about my particular hearing issue. He patiently took the time to explain the pros and cons and differences between the different types of hearing aid available. I left with a much clearer understanding of my hearing loss.
I found the appointment professional , informative and helpful. I had no expectations as to what the Hearing Test would involve and I expected that I would be given a clear 'bill of health'. I did not expect them to find anything wrong with my hearing, but they did. They suggested that I get hearing aids.I need time to process the results

I am extremely impressed with the totally professional service I received at Amplifon Chester le Street, when I had my ear wax removed. The Clinic Manager and Hearing Aid Audiologist, Jackie Cowan, who successfully removed the wax from my ears was so friendly, patient and understanding. The wax in my ears was so hard (it had accumulated over many years) that it took three attempts to completely remove it! Jackie was lovely. Once all the wax had been removed, she advised me to clear my ears weekly using Cerumol, and to call in for a free ear check if I had any concerns. It is this aftercare which really impressed me.In fact, I am really impressed with the entire team at Amplifon Chester le Street. The receptionist is lovely, and, as I have said, both of the Clinic Managers/Hearing Audiologists (Claire Abbey and Jackie Cowan) are highly professional and totally customer focused. I would recommend Amplifon Chester le Street to anyone with hearing problems or anyone who needs advice about improving their hearing.
