I bought these Trackers for my 3 Husketiers who are ascape artists At first I bought 2 later on I bought 3 more upgraded ones , which are more better as in battery life and distances. Sir Casou sent me an update for the newer trackers and now I can walk my dogs with only one receiver. I thank customer service from AORKULER especially Sir Casou for his optimal great help!So happy customer !So I have now in total 5 trackers and 3 Husketiers probably I need to add more Huskies 😄 Thank you very much
We waited with writing this review since we wanted to know first how the product would work out. We've had the aorkuler for about 9 months now and couldn't be happier. We had a tracking device tied to our phone previously but since we live in a rural area and mostly go hiking in the mountains, it was completely useless. The aorkuler has been a game changer and helped us locate our missing pup numerous times. When off leash, it is super reassuring to know how far our dog is away, and if he is going further or coming back. Moreover, we trained our dog to become aware of the beeps when he is going too far afield so he knows now to turn back. Casou has been immensely helpful in setting up the device and promptly responds to any issues. We won't have any other tracker, ever.
We've relied on the Aorkuler tracker to keep an "eye" on our 15-month old crazy puppy as we walk through the woods. It's been a god-send-we're too old to run after him! When the controller failed to "wake up" I contacted the Service team who quickly responded and attempted to walk me through a few trouble-shooting steps. When that failed and because it was under warranty, they sent a replacement controller. After completing the "remove" and "binding" steps, the tracker and controller connected. We can again walk in the dense woods while still knowing where Bud has run off to.
I bought this tracker for my cat, a 2-year-old Main Coon.Commercial GPS solutions are often huge for a cat. Here, the transmitter is more discreet. I attach it to the harness. The customer service is brilliant ! Thanks to William for convincing me, and for all the answers he gave me. Responsiveness and transparency !In concrete terms : for the moment, I only take my cat out in the garden. Sometimes tied up, sometimes not. He's still young.Cats have trouble staying put. He'll absolutely explore the area, and one of the first times (before I bought this tracker), I lost sight of him... and he'd actually wandered into the neighbours' yard. I panicked before I saw it.Anyway, since then I've been much calmer. I have to admit that the accuracy of the direction your animal is facing is amazing ! As for the distance, I'm not sure, but I think it's pretty accurate.Minuses : the beeping sound is too low. If the environment is noisy, it's very difficult to hear.Secondly, the fact that the direction (and distance) display goes into standby mode after 15/20 metres. A message replaces them to indicate 'nearbye'. William told me that this was to save the tracker's energy.So... for a dog, I can understand. At this distance, you're bound to see it, or if you call it, it will come. For a cat... we'll talk about it again ! If a cat doesn't want to show itself, you can walk past it 10 times (in a thicket or a bush) without seeing it. So this limitation is a shame. But I'm aware that this tracker will rarely be used for cats (please think about car, Aorkuler team ! It would be great for your business too).In the meantime, I'm very pleased with this device : no subscription, fairly small, battery that lasts much longer than a traditional GPS, long range...If I ever have to take it out into the countryside, which I'd like to do, I'll have a clear conscience.
GPS locator works as described. Zoned right in on his location. Sound feature needs to be louder. You have to be within 2ft. to hear it. However the location finds your pet ASAP. I have it always on. Battery last 24hrs. I simply charge it like I do my watch and phone. No connectivity problems. Nice product
Our furry family member is a very active and energetic Gordon Setter who loves to run. We live in a rural area of Western Canada with cellular service that is inconsistent. We tried the Tractive system and found it wanting; we were frustrated by the number of times we received the “cellular signal too weak” message. If you live in a rural area with limited cell service, or if you take your dog into remote areas with no cell service at all, the Aorkuler tracker may be the answer for you. The system consists of a small transmitter that attaches to your dog’s collar or harness and a controller you hold in your hand. Once the two are “linked” (this usually only takes a few seconds) the controller tells you the distance and direction your dog is away from you. I have had my dog disappear from eyesight over hills or into trees but the controller unit tells me exactly how far away he is and which direction he is from me. When the numbers start decreasing, I know he’s on his way back long before I spot him again. It’s always gratifying when I call him and almost immediately the numbers go down! There are a couple of things you should know when considering this tracker. There are no subscription fees and you don’t need a cellular connection. You don’t need an app on your phone, the hand held controller gives you the distance and direction. Unfortunately you can only track one dog with this system, and there’s only one controller for each transmitter, so only one family member can track the dog. Both the tracker and the controller are charged using unique magnetic charging cords and the battery life is quite good, up to several hours on a single charge. And unlike some controllers, the battery still works in very cold (-30C and colder) temperatures. If you’re looking for a unit that works where there’s no cell signal, requires no subscription fees, and gives accurate real-time distance and direction information for your dog’s location, you should seriously consider getting the Aorkuler tracker.
As I have been trying to find a good dog tracking system for the last +/-5 years and during that period, I have tried 2 different subscription-based dog tracker systems before trying the Aorkuler Tracker Pro system a couple of years ago. As for the 2 different subscription-based systems that rely on cellular service, I found them to be to slow and unreliable to have any confidence that in a pinch, I would be able to effectively track my dog if we became separated. Then I tried the Aorkuler Tracker Pro which was an improvement over the cellular-based system, but need some improvements to fully indorse the product. As Aorkuler has now come out with a new version of their tracking system being the Aorkuler 2 system, I am finally in a place to recommend this tracking system with full confidence that the system can quickly tell you in which direction you dog has gone and approximately how far he is from you. This tracker comes with a 30 day return policy and excellent technical support to help you decide whether or not it is right for you. I say, Go For It:)
Living on 60 acres surrounded by dense woods and farmland is an ideal setting for dogs, but also for wildlife like deer and coyotes. With a puppy added to the mix, it quickly became clear we needed a GPS tracker. My wife and I, both in our 60s, just aren’t able to chase down a dog in pursuit of wildlife like we used to. While we rely on a stim collar for recall, it’s not always effective, especially if the dog is ignoring it or the collar shifts.Last week, our 50-pound puppy bolted into the woods, and we quickly lost sight of him. After 30 minutes, during which it began to rain and snow, he finally responded to my calls. That’s when I knew I needed a GPS tracker. After researching, we decided on the Aorkuler Tracker 2. It has been a game changer. No fees, quick charging, and so easy to set up and use.Even in the thickest woods, I always have a good sense of where the dog is and how far away. Sometimes it takes a minute or two for the tracker and controller to sync with the satellites, but it works reliably and is very user-friendly.I feel completely confident now that I won’t lose track of Bud. For the price, it’s definitely worth it.
Attention Campers/Overlanders/Nature Lovers and Explorers with canine companions, this Aorkuler Tracker is the best buy you can make to keep your dog safe and give you peace of mind while exploring off grid! The new Tracker 2 is a game changer for anyone with a dog who likes to go off grid but doesn't want to break the bank. It is incredibly easy to use, for instance, if you are camping off grid and at night in the dark your dog has ventured roughly a km away, the tracker will point you in the direction of your dog, giving you the distance away from your dog and once you in close range the controller will read nearby, at that point the tracker has multiple ways of locating your dog once within ear/eyeshot with lights and sounds equipped on the tracker so in the dark you can find them easily, for scared dogs (or cats) who are hiding in bush etc it can be a lifesaver. The information is communicated in real time, no lag at all, this is hugely beneficial (and a very important valuable feature) as it allows you to keep up on your dog's movements while they are on the move, as even a small lag in time can mean you are constantly playing catch up on your dogs location which is what many other trackers and tags do, they only "check in" every few minutes, which is unhelpful when your missing dog is on the move, and they are always on the move! Please, take my advice, don't waste your money on other systems, this one is all you need, it works literally everywhere a GPS does, is in real time, affordable and the customer service is out of this world! I have had many interactions with the designers and owners asking them questions and they have been absolutely stellar to deal with! I am just a regular dog owner, have no affiliation to Aorkuler at all but I love their product so much I want everyone to get one and keep exploring the Great Outdoors with their Canine Companion safely with peace of mind. 10 out of 10 can't recommend highly enough!
The tracker uses radio communication so it will only work if you are in range. We have had it working in bushland and we could sill track our dog who was over 700m away. The back up service from Aorkuler is fantastic. We had a small recharging issue and there was a slight delay in obtaining a spare part. Casou, their customer liaison person went above and beyond out expectations. He offered us a few gifts because of the delay. Any questions I had regarding the tracker have been answer nearly instantly and the response was thorough and very helpful.I can't speak highly enough of this company! If every business provided this level of customer service the world would be a much better place. Thanks Casou!
