Been trying now for 5 weeks!

Been trying now for 5 weeks to get my car in a garage to be repaired. AA Warranty have put me onto 5 garages, ALL of which will NOT even entertain doing any work for AA Warranty, now as a final option they tell me that they only have 1 more option and I will have to pay for any work upfront. I must have spent 3-4 hours on the phone now trying to get this sorted. AA Warranty tell me to NOT drive my car yet can't get it in anywhere to be fixed! I've even been told sorry we don't have anyone who can deal with Audi, so why exactly did AA Warranty take money from the dealership I bought the car from to warranty an Audi? Now awaiting response from formal complaint but still 5 weeks on, my car hasn't been near a garage and still riddled with faults. I'm now been told that they have 1 more option but I have to PAY UPFRONT!? Not acceptable at all. Would not recommend AA Warranty at this stage. Will amend review depending on the outcome following complaint response.UPDATE - AA Warranty now agreed to pay garage directly, and garage accepted car in on Monday for diagnosis of the faults. Will update review on final outcome.

I had a a claim refused due to wear and…

I had a a claim refused due to wear and tear. A major engine component malfunctioned. The car was just over 3 years old. The claim was rejected and the following clause in the contract pointed out to me in their rejection letter. ""Breakdown means the sudden and unforeseen failure of a component arising from any permanent mechanical or electrical defect, (for a reason other than the wear and tear, normal deterioration or negligence) before normal operation can resumed"". I took the contract to a solicitor and he confirmed the clause means all claims can be rejected on wear and tear grounds and so the warranty was useless. After what happened to me I'd urge anyone out there with said warranty to ask for your money back. It's worthless. My repair bill was considerable.

AA Warranty ..Excellent

I took my car in for a recall to Mazda. I had noticed a brake issue and although the car was only one month out of warranty they wouldn’t do a goodwill repair. I called the AA they offered ‘their’ garage or I could use the Franchise. They approved the repair in only a few hours and the car was repaired using OE parts. AA Warranty exceeded my expectations

Absolute joke

Absolute joke. This is no more AA warranty than The Man in The Moon. Bought a car from Car Store (Evans Halshaw) and within a week had a large oil leak. Took it to be fixed to find a huge bodge on the sump plug. 128 Point AA Check - my arsssSpoke to AA who were going to do a 'full urgent investigation' the outcome of which was 'fuff off and speak to Motorway its their warranty'Seriously AA? Seriously?.I would not entertain another car that the AA had anything to do with let alone their warrantyAbsolute fraudulent business.
