GLS have to be the worse courier company in Ireland. I returned a parcel for the EU a month ago and went back to the drop off to see that it still not has been picked up. Useless phone assisiatnce = yes we will get that picked up tommorow and that was two weeks ago. Avoid GLS
Bought the warranty and three weeks later I had a "Suspension Problem " warning light come up. the actual warranty is with Opteven. This is a third party company NOT the AA. The garage told me that Opteven demanded the computer readout from them. Presumably to see if it was a pre-existing fault and to make sure I'd been driving the car upto the date i reported the fault light. Turned out I needed a new air suspension compressor. having had their investigation thwarted, they refused the claim, saying that as I hadn't put the exact mileage on my application form, (I'd rounded 67850 miles up to 68000) it was a false claim and that the agreement was cancelled. Tell me, what difference did that make? And before they give the standard reply telling me to contact their complaints department - I did that. Den of con-men. they even took the next month's direct debit from my account. (Which I'm now told will be refunded). Well Opteven, you lost a year's premiums for a £500 repair. Not very sound economics. AVOID.Since then, they asked me to contact them directly. (see below). I did this and here we are a month later with no reply. customer care? No. Make any ridiculous excuse not to pay for a legit repair and then turn a deaf ear.
