They refused to pick up a shipment from my business address and lied about my business having safety

They refused to pick up a shipment from my business address and lied about my business having safety concerns, even though they have picked up multiple shipments in the same month from the same address. When I asked the dispatcher in Sacramento, California about what specific safety concerns are preventing the driver from picking up, he refused to answer me and said “ It sounds like you’re not getting me right” then hung up the phone. I called customer service and they were super useless. They kept on transferring me from one to another and ended up with the same dispatcher that doesn’t want to pick up my shipments. They refused to give me back my money or even to specify what safety concerns are preventing them from pick up.

People seem to really care

The lady that amswers the phome in Charleston was just so pleasant and went out of her way to find out about what time my shipment would arrive amd where the truck was. She just was plane nice. The driver got here and we had to off load by hand and he was also very nice and didnt complaim a lick. Very good cistomer service.

I used arcbest to buy ltl shipping

I used arcbest to buy ltl shipping, the initial carrier AAA logistics was not very good and didn't pick up the pallet, but Matthew from arcbest helped me, spoke with them and then helped me find another carrier which picked up the pallet on the same day and deliver it over the weekend.Their customer service over the phone and by email was amazing!

Excellent service

Delivered on time. Driver got his 18 wheeler way back down my dirt road and unloaded my heavy machine exactly where I asked with zero help. Excellent service. Absolutely would use again. Above and beyond.

DO NOT USE ArcBest and ABF freight

DO NOT USE ARCBEST and ABF freight!! They said it would take 4-6 days to deliver. It’s been over 2 weeks now and still no machine yet. They said it got lost and now that they found it, they want to charge me double the price we agreed on. I’ve asked several times for manager to call me back and nobody ever does. Very irresponsible company and nobody really cares. I wish I read the other reviews before I hired them.

lacks transparency and priorty

I requested a pickup from Ohio for a powder coat oven. was told it would take 7-10 business days. After a couple of weeks i reached out and was told that no one was sent to pick up the load and they would go right away. called a few weeks later and was told they had been to the pickup location 3 times. I was not called during these times that they supposedly attempted a pick up. I contacted the machine shop that i purchased the oven from and was told that they would not send anyone away without the load as that is what they do all day long. I was told that ArcBest did not come to pick up on any of the days they stated they made attempt. Speaking with ArcBest staff i was told that they did not have reason to contact me about not being able to pick up the 3 said occasions. I would not recommend using this operation as they don't appear to be honest, customer service oriented or prompt as they made me believe. Find a different company for your shipping.

Bad Delivery

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with this delivery service in Fort Mill, SC. I paid for home delivery, yet the driver left the two pallets from my flooring order on the street, not even in my driveway.Since I was at work and the delivery window was five hours long, the driver called me. I politely asked him to open my garage and leave the order inside, but he said that wasn’t something they do.In the end, the service was completely disappointing and unprofessional. I had to move all 85 boxes into my garage by myself. Very dissatisfied with this experience.

I ordered a saw that was shipped…

I ordered a saw that was shipped freight all the way across the country, after dealing with other freight companies i didn’t have high hopes my package would come without some damage, to my surprise i got the best freight experience i have ever had. From customer service scheduling the delivery and answering all my questions friendly and accurately to my driver being fantastic, i couldn’t really ask for better. To top it all off my package looked as if it hadn’t been transported at all.
