Telling more of my friends that Armadillo is THE BEST!!

I was with AFC before and they were good to me but had limited coverage unlike Armadillo who covers just about anything and everything!I looked at and called quite a few companies and one would not even cover my well pump unless it was under my house! I have never heard of such a thing. Others would not cover any appliance unless it was less that 10 years old. Armadillo does!I signed up a little over a year ago and I had a ceiling fan fail. Gabriel was quick to put in a claim and explained the procedure; saying that he could send a technician out OR I could get an electrician OF MY OWN CHOOSING! Who else offers that? I could use my favorite electrician but he was backup up, so I checked Yelp and found one with an excellent rating and reviews. It only needed a control box on a $400 double-oscillating fan, so I paid it because it was less than the deductible.I renewed this excellent policy this year. Soon after, we woke up to a thawed freezer. My initial claim went smoothly. I found my own appliance repair service. He said that it needed a circuit board before he could check anything else. Armadillo quickly approved that. He replaced the circuit board only to discover that, now that the compressor was getting full power all of the time, that it needed a new one BUT he recommended a new fridge.That is where things got rough because the quote for the repair was not uploaded as it should have been. After 4 days of not hearing anything, Gabriel found the problem and proceeded to find a fridge. However their contract says that it can be similar and I was offered a Ford for a Cadillac ( a Kenmore Elite, the best that Sears had.) I complained and I was told that I should have bought the optional Brand-to-Brand coverage, which I did not because Kenmore was not made any more!A $1500 fridge was not acceptable to me, so I was led to contact Nathan , who had renewed my policy, He passed on my problems to his boss. Later that day I received a call from the CEO/President.Who does that any more? He heard me and quickly escalated my case, Instead of hearing from a specialist by 11AM the next day, I got an email less than 2 hours later offering a $2500 settlement that would be paid to PayPal or Venmo immediately!I replied, saying that the $2799 LG was the most like mine in looks and function (French door and a bottom freezer) plus it had the same ice-maker too (water and ice in the door), because they made the Kenmore fridge. I also said that I was not paid for food spoilage ($250.00) which is also included in their policy.The Vice President (Kelsey) paid over $3200 for the fridge of MY choosing and the spoiled food, directly into PayPal account at their opening, the very next day!I could not ask for anything more!!I suggest that you buy the Brand-to-Brand option (soon to have a less confusing name, I was told) so that you will get up to $1000.00 more for what is best for you.I have already told my neighbor and my best friend about Armadillo and am now telling more of my friends that Armadillo is THE BEST!!Ben in NC

My husband and I purchased a home at the beginning of this month (January 2025). We had issues with our heating/ water and we were advised to contact Armadillo for home warranty services. I called Armadillo and advised them that our heater went out as well as hot water heater going out and it was extremely crucial for us to have heat in our home due to us having 2 small children at home as well as I was 9 months pregnant at the time and was due at any moment. They advised me that they would send someone out and that I would be charged $100 per claim. I said that was fine as long as someone was sent out to take a look at the house. They advised me that someone would but that it would take some time as they would need to find a technician in our area to send out. I said that was fine. My husband and I received an email a few days later asking us to submit our home inspection report so they can verify if it wasn’t a prior issue before we bought the home. We sent the inspection report. About 1 to 2 weeks later, my husband received an email stating that they would not be able to help us because according to the report it was a prior issue and they would not be able to send someone out or fix it for us. We were extremely upset. We ended up cancelling our home warranty due to this and the mere fact that we paid for the service fees and not a single person was sent out. They just took a look at the report. We ended paying close to $600 for our heating to be fixed and are currently waiting on water. My husband and I are very disappointed with the way that everything was handled unprofessionally. We felt as if we were taken advantage of and that our issue was no big deal.

Mario from Armadillo is amazing and very responsive! I have had horrible issues with other home warranty companies, but Armadillo is great to work with and effectively and efficiently processed my claim. I highly recommend Armadillo!!

I had a pipe burst in a rental

I had a pipe burst in a rental. I contacted them online they said they would reimburse $350. I got it done the same day and paid $550. Then a sales person came and said they would not pay it because the repairs were already done. And it was not approved by them. I contacted them before I did the job but could not leave a pipe leaking all day waiting on them. It was done the day I put in the ticket. I canceled the service. I have had problem after problem with this company I will not recommend them at allBe careful what you sign. Read the contract bec. there are a lot of things that they DO NOT COVER. Parts of what they say they will and can end up costing you just as much money as if you were doing it yourself. I would go with another company.
