I wouldn't even give them a 1 star.this business claims 2nd class deliveryonce you pay this changes to 30 daysthe stock comes from China not Portsmouth as listed.You are unable to cancel or return items because the link for returns is a dead link.they told me my battery was out of stock and offered a refund which I accepted so I bought somewhereNext day they reneged on the refund telling me the battery was dispatched. the battery I bought welsher arrived next day. the Asuslaptopbattery item arrived 30 days later and I am unable to return it or get a refund because PayPal says I received it.

First battery received was faulty but …

First battery received was faulty but after a few emails etc replacement was sent and is now working fine. Customer service response was very good.

Good product, but poor delivery experience.

EDITED 9th January 2024 - seven years after I originally wrote this review. I've just had a reply from Asuslaptopbattery (you can read it below) telling me how much they appreciate my feedback and apologising for the delay. It's a nice reply, but seven years late! :-)) Perhaps Asuslaptopbattery has changed hands or got new management. Anyway, so far as I can remember the battery was OK, but the whole computer went in the WEEE recycling years ago.Here's my original review:I bought a battery for a laptop. I placed the order on 19th September. The website showed that it was in stock at the depot in Portsmouth. I chose Hermes UK delivery, 2-3 working days. I received an email at 4:35 am the following day to say it had been despatched, with a tracking number.The tracking number was for Netherlands Post. The PostNL tracker showed that they received the item in their sorting centre on 27th September, a week after the email saying that the item had been despatched. It arrived in the UK on the 28th, and was finally delivered on 5th October. It had come from China.I emailed asuslaptopbattery on 26th September for a progress report, using the link on their email. I did not get a reply.The battery is the correct model and the quality seems fine.
