I give them 1 star as that’s the lowest I purchased a autel diagnostic machine and was told I could upgrade the interface from cable to blue tooth as my budget for the machine was £500 so 2 weeks ago approx I asked which inch module will fit and the reply was xxxxxxx so I purchased one only to find out it does not work and they offered me 1/2 back and I could sell it why would I do that so I pursued it and eventually with permission from China I could send it back What that’s the back of beyond out £100 in a pack and ask a travelling person to post it I think not They then said contact Hermes what for I don’t know I have a claim into Hermes and I can not get past the Robot answer machine this has been going on for weeks now and as still no resolution Wish I had viewed this site before purchase I would not have purchased from them or had any dealings with them
Best diagnostic tool for your toolbox. I wanted a diagnostic tool for my Jag XF to; a) keep the car performing at its best, b) to save on garage bills. I first needed to reset the battery which was a requirement to enable stop start. Firstly, I bought an iCarsoft V3.0 diagnostic tool, which boasts many features. Unfortunately, it caused a loss of communication between the immobiliser and ecu, disabling the car completely. After more Internet searching and a couple of recommendations from friends, I was introduced to the world of Autel. Although they are marketed mainly for garages and require yearly subscription fees for updates, there are a few which are reasonably priced allowing diyers, such as myself to fix cars without constantly having to take it to a garage and paying £45 plus just to be told an £11 part needs replacing. I decided on the MaxiPRO MP808TS. Although it is one of the less expensive diagnostic scanners, it boasts a lot of features, one of which was to reset the battery without disabling my car. Great device, good price, and delivered within 2 days.
They will send you a product but it may have minor defects. The advertising is very cleverly misleading. There is no warranty with the products they send you. If you spend £2000 on a im608 and it doesn’t work then you have a major problem on your hands. My advice is pay a little bit more from a Uk seller.
Genuine Autel product is really good but UK support leaves a lot to be desired so I always use the USA support. Autel GB will not help you if the product isn't a UK one ! Also cost of software updates (£500-£600) is prohibitive even for commercial business. In the USA software updates are for 2 years...UK is only 1 year ??? Several models (MS906TS) are only available in USA and will not work in the UK but are advertised as the latest product in the UK lineup but are always out of stock !! Autel is not a very customer friendly company which is a shame because there products are generally very good but let down by poor support, overpricing, and incorrect advertising...not good enough Autel...you need to improve and be more customer friendly.
as a self employed mechanic i expect the best from my tools ,just as my customers expect the best from me ..yet purchasing one of these code readers was a total disaster from the start .the machine could not do the basics on some European vehicles .it also didn't recognise the most basics of Nissan vans. the updates are a ridicules price for a tablet thats out of date ,slow ,and constantly needing the battery charged. it has now been sold but to my disgust i cant remove my details from the account as i have looked and looked on every autel site ,emailed numerous autel addresses but not one reply .i will never purchase another joke reader or praise them up .
I purchased a upright walker thru wal market marketplace it was the OasisSpace used it a few times and the front right wheel broke. Wal mart contacted the company twice for me but never heard from them. After ready the reviews I feel lucky I'm out only 183 dollars. I gave a 1 star because you have to fill in the blank. I will check before buying next time
I would of given them 0 stars do not buy anything from them they have had my test probe for over a year, 54 emails and still no progress. I only had the probe for a couple of mths when it went faulty....so to sum them up poor quality tool and unbelievable poor customer service this includes the UK office which I don't believe is in the UK at all shocking
I have a maxi check 808 from new it would not communicate with 3 out of 4 vehicles I called tech support many times and recorded on the tool.They couldn't fix it.So a while later I reply to one of the sales email and they say oh send it in.So I do and they send it back still not fixed.So I call again they say send it back.I do and they tell me I will have to pay its out of warranty but from day 1 it's been recorded having this problem.They didn't care they just sent it back.Love the tool when it works I have to other autels that work great.Just expected more help.
