While the food quality is great, their customer service is HORRENDOUS. Every single order I had always had some sort of issue - missing items, too many items, items sent to me from other people's orders, charging me twice, etc. On top of that, their customer service people are poorly trained and extremely inefficient. I was told my card was charged when it never was, no replies to emails, issues with my orders where they weren't providing proactive solutions. Horrible experience.
This was the most inconvienent and disturbing processes I have ever dealt with. Hoping to try a product at a lower cost. It started fine but when ordering it would not allow me to put in a shipping address, so the package was going to be sent to my billing address (in another state). The customer care person changes my shipping address and cancels my order. Told me she had to and that even my continuous orders would not go to the shipping address because I was paying with PayPal and it was a security thing. This whole thing made no sense at all, so in the end I don't get to try the food for my dog at a reduced rate because it was a onetime thing. On top of that I am unable to even create an account on the website. Worst experience ever and if this is the way one customer is treated it gives a bad taste for me to even think this company is a good company.
BUYER BEWARE: Terrible return policy & zero support!Badlands Ranch seriously let me down. I ordered six bags of their beef formula..smelled great, looked promising, but my dog wouldn’t even touch it! I tried for two full days with different tricks, and he outright refused to eat it. So I called customer support hoping to return the unopened bags and get my money back. And guess what? That “100% money-back guarantee” they boast about? It’s a joke. You have to pay for return shipping out of pocket, and there’s no clear process…just figure it out yourself and send a heavy box to some mystery warehouse. No prepaid label. No guidance. Just figure it out on your own.This was hands down the most inconvenient and frustrating experience I’ve had with any pet company. Their flashy ads lure you in, but once they’ve got your money? You’re on your own. No real help. No accountability. If your dog is picky or you’re hoping for responsive customer care, stay far away. I feel tricked, ignored, and frankly furious at how little they care after the sale.Badlands Ranch, you need to fix this. Streamline your return process. Respect your customers. Otherwise, you’re just selling hype.
Wonderful Dog food. My dog loves it, great ingredients and seemingly healthy. However, the marketing is insufferable and infuriating. I can see through every marketing scheme and I'm on the brink of switching dog foods because the smarmy transparent, soul-less email blasts which make me believe there is a disconnect between Katherine's ethics with animals and the lack thereof in the marketing strategy. I buy the dog food - I don't need 4-6 emails a day promoting me to spin a wheel for a discount that doesn't exist. I love it when business's products speak for themselves....
