Unfortunately, when I spoke to the receptionist, I encountered a very rude and condescending attitude, which made me feel foolish and embarrassed for reaching out to a veterinary service about a potentially injured animal. There was no compassion for my situation, just outright disrespect.

I am truly disappointed after years of using this service; I will never return. It felt as though they were only interested in our money, with the vet constantly glancing at the door as if we had overstayed our welcome. In addition to a £51 consultation fee and £30 for a urine test, we were charged £28 for a translation fee, which I was told covered the vet explaining the results. We left thinking our dog was on the brink of death unless we paid £2,500 for surgery.
STAY AWAY!! This practice prioritizes profits over pet care! We took our dog to them on a bank holiday when our regular vet was closed; he was having difficulty urinating. They diagnosed bladder stones and insisted on a £3,000 surgery upfront. After paying and undergoing the operation, we were informed they hadn't removed all the stones and would need another procedure costing up to £2,000. Following two nights at their facility, our dog was worse and unable to pee at all. We had to call our regular vets, who were fantastic and managed to remove all the stones. We ended up paying £2,000 to them. Sadly, our dog passed away weeks later, likely due to the stress from multiple surgeries caused by this service's negligence. They also refused to let us see our dog until we paid more.
We recently lost our beloved dog in a tragic accident, which devastated our family, especially our three young children. While we were on holiday, this service contacted us regarding our deceased pet. We chose cremation and paid £290 over the phone. Upon returning, we were shocked to find they refused to release her remains, claiming we owed £106 from a previous insurance claim, effectively holding her remains for ransom in front of my young son and other customers. The receptionist and Deputy Manager were unyielding, insisting we settle the account before we could take her home. We complied, despite disputing the charges months earlier. The lack of compassion from the staff was appalling, and it was downright disgusting to demand payment in such a sensitive situation. This service clearly prioritizes money over the feelings of grieving families.
The efficiency of this place is unparalleled. My young cat took a turn for the worse over 48 hours, and I was panicking. After some calls to various vets, I was directed to this service. The receptionist was fantastic—very friendly and reassuring, which was a relief after being sleepless. We were there for less than five minutes before a lovely vet came in, examined my cat, and prescribed the necessary medication. She was wonderful and explained everything clearly. I highly recommend this service for their excellent staff and service.

I ended up back at this service, where my cat had to stay over the weekend. They assured me they would keep me updated but failed to do so. His procedure was delayed until late Saturday, and communication was poor; they just kept saying he was fine. After a referral for a scan, I waited and waited for results that never arrived. When I contacted my regular vet, they hadn't received anything. Eventually, I discovered this service had been sitting on my cat's results for ten days, claiming they filed them away since he wasn’t a patient of theirs. This delay in treatment severely impacted his quality of life. The Director wouldn’t even apologize for their actions, which left me very disappointed.
I have consistently had positive experiences with this veterinary practice. They show genuine compassion and truly care for the animals they treat. A few years ago, they handled the passing of my cat with great respect. More recently, they helped us navigate treatment options for my very sick dog, weighing the pros and cons and ensuring we made the best decision for him. Now, my current cat is registered here, and they have been wonderful during every visit, even throughout the challenges of the pandemic. This practice is my first choice for veterinary care, and I highly recommend them.
I took my dog to be put down on a Sunday morning. I called around 7:30, as my dog was struggling. They told me to come in right away. Upon arrival, they took him in and allowed me some time to gather myself. I handled the payment and signed for the procedure, and they kept their distance, which I appreciated.
