Our experience with bargain car rentals has been terrible! We had an extremely long wait at the airport (40+ minutes) and then another long wait when we got to the rental centre. No apologies were made for this. When we returned the car there was some minor damage which we were charged the full excess amount for and were told we would be contacted with the actual cost of repairs as soon as possible so we could claim back the money from our insurer. It has now been 3 months and we haven’t heard anything, despite sending 5 emails asking for the repair details. I would not recommend dealing with this company!

Awful experience. We were given a faulty car, we then had to arrange a tow truck without help. It took 10 hours to arrange a tow truck and by the time it was sorted the depot was closed so we weren’t able to get a replacement car. I had my 3 year old with me and would never trust this car company again. The whole experience was horrible.

Pickup was easy with pleasant staff and no waiting time - the car park at Hobart airport is easy to find and exit.

The compact SUV (MG ZS) was OK but high mileage (114,000km) and a bit rough around the edges. It was underpowered and noisy, but everything worked. There was no Android Auto...only Apple Carplay.

With a full to full fuel policy I was a bit annoyed that the fuel gauge dropped to 7/8 about 5km after pick up - clearly it would've been nowhere near full. Having said that, with modern digital fuel gauges presumably the only real requirement in return is that it reads 8/8, which no doubt it did.

The vehicle interior was not very clean it has to be said.

Would use again but I'd probably investigate the spec of the car a bit more than I did this time.

Everything went smoothly, was very affordable and reliable. Only thing I would suggest is more staff, collection from airport was a long wait and took a while to get car as only 2 staff working behind the counter, other than that was excellent.

Everything seemed fine till I dropped the car off and not long after was charged a full tank charge stating that I didn’t put petrol in the car when in actual fact I did. The tank was only three quarters full so I ensured I returned it the same way. I called and was asked if I had proof like a photo of the tank gage I said to the lady are you serious only did 47 kilometres it not possible that I even used a quarter of a tank. I then I went in personal and spoke to someone else and they figured that it was the previous person that didn’t fill the tank up, and was going to tell the manager the next day so that she could fix it. Two days later instead of a refund I got slugged with another fee to my account. Was not impressed at all went back to the rental place spoke to the manger personally and was told she didn’t know anything about it, it was fixed up immediately but was not refunded the bank fees that went with the transactions. Poor service to say the least and very unprofessional and untrustworthy from your staff.

Overall, everything went well, but the manager was a bit intimidating and pressured me to buy full insurance, despite my proof of existing coverage from my provider. Additionally, I have yet to receive the invoice from the company, and the deposit remains unreimbursed. More than a week has passed without any information or updates.

Smooth and Convenient Booking Experience

The reservation process was straightforward, and even though the vehicle collection point was not at the airport, the shuttle bus made everything quite manageable. Both pick-up and drop-off were seamless and hassle-free.

Smooth process with competitive rates; slight delay in email responses

The process was straightforward and offered good rates. My only suggestion would be to improve the response time for emails. Other than that, the service was excellent, and I would definitely return.

Great shuttle service, but car condition was lacking

The shuttle service from the airport to the pick-up yard and back was outstanding. However, I was somewhat disappointed with the state of the rental car; it was not in great condition.
