Review Time
This morning Daniel , from the Liverpool office, guided me through the long-winded process for registration of our company SSAS on HMRC's Government Gateway website.It was our third attempt at completing the process via Zoom meetings, the previous ones being curtailed or cancelled due to my lack of knowledge/information and then a family emergency.I couldn't have done it without Daniel's patience, knowledge and calmness. Thanks again Daniel, top man.

One star as you do get the right response - eventually. I advise change of address - they send me a bank mandate form, I informed them of a change of name and they responded to my old name to my old address. I asked for an expression of wish form and I get another bank mandate.I 5 year old child would serve me better than this office. Letters from them do not contain a named person so so one held to account. Team A or Team B do not write letters - people do.This is problem with todays 'call centre' mentality - employ the worst and let them lose and if they make a mistake no one give a flying fig as no one is responsible for their actions. Date is today but problems go back months.I hate having to deal with this company - and their stock answer is to respond in xx days - just employ a few competent adult people and we would be better served in good time - not wait standard 10 days for a simple action.Barclays pension.

Very poor communication and serious question marks over financial accuracy. I have complained once already and no action has been taken. Their web-site has no link to enable customers to raise a complaint which appears to make it non-compliant. All of my dealings with this company have been stressful, unhelpful, inefficient and basically incompetent. How is one supposed to trust this company and believe the accuracy of the figures quoted if they can't even answer a simple email request within a sensible time frame?

I am 60 in 5 weeks time and have been planning my retirement very carefully for a long time.I have been lied to on a couple of occasions by BW - which they have admitted, and despite contacting them regularly over the last 9 months, it appears I will not be getting my pension lump sum and monthly payment starting in September. This means I have had to scrap my retirement plans, I will need to continue to work full time and not able to pay off my mortgage as I had hoped.They don't return calls, you are lucky if you get any response from them at all - if you do, it's a standard reply and not specific. Deplorable company - having worked hard for over 40 years, this company have wrecked what should be an exciting new phase of my life.DeBeers were an amazing company to work for, why on earth they chose this lot to manage our pensions I have no idea.
