My little one, age 4, went to the October 25 camp in Horsham for a few days and loved it then was super excited to go for the entire week in Feb half term 26 at the same location.He was happy and had a great time every day. He particularly loved the swimming, but it was clear they did loads of different activities each day. Staff were capable, switched on and good with the kidsHe came home happy and tired every day. The days are long for a really little one like mine, but he loved it!
My son had an overall great time at this holiday camp in the summer and recent half term. I think the range of activities were greater in the Summer than in the half term. My son never had a chance to do motor sports in the summer despite him attending for 8 days in total and me specifically asking the staff for him to be chosen one day (I understand numbers are limited but they should still allow every child who is interested to have a go). They publish that you can pick up between 4:30 and 5:30pm but it seems no activities are planned for this hour so when you pick up at 5pm, for example, your child has been sat down in a room holding their backpack and coat for half an hour!
My 5 year old boys loved their week at Harlow Barracudas. The staff were great with them, especially when they were scared and shy on the first day.There were really good age appropriate activities to keep them entertained all day.
This was our first time using Barracudas, we used Hemel Hempstead over October half term. I was a bit anxious on the first day, as this was the first time we’ve used a holiday camp for our little girl (aged 4) who has just started school. All the information beforehand was v helpful & drop off was great, the team were warm and welcoming. Our daughter loved it. The activities and facilities were brilliant, she even went swimming with the group leader (she normally hates getting into the water!). She talks about ‘camp’ and asks if we can go again! So we’ll definitely be using in the future. As full time working parents, we’re lucky to have found Barracudas.
Barracudas is a place of great fun, which is what kids need when on their holidays! The range of activities is excellent and the staff fantastic. My child has been going to a number of years and even at the age of now 13 has a superb time. I highly recommend it! Susan
Barracuda is simply the most love holiday club my son has ever been. He loves it with passion and I couldn’t be happier with the amazing staff. They’ve bond really nicely with him. Huge thanks to the Cobham team. Cartier loves you guys.
It was my 1st time using any summer camps so like any parents i was worried my daughter might not enjoy it or it might not meet my expectations. How wrong was i. Everything was amazing. Loved how organised it was. I used the chigwell branch. The staff were lovely and helpful. My daughter loved ( i mean she did get a bouncy castle 1st thing in the morning). But i will definitely use you again. Already told her whole class at school about it. Thank you for making our 1st experience a good one.
Review of Barracudas Summer CampMy 10-year-old son had the best time at Barracudas this summer! The camp is so well run, with a great mix of activities to keep the kids excited and engaged all day long.His absolute highlight was the motor sports sessions – they were safe, thrilling, and gave him such a confidence boost. He came home every evening full of stories about what he’d done, from racing around to trying new challenges.What I loved most was the variety. Alongside motor sports, he got to join in team games, outdoor adventures, and creative activities, which meant he was always trying something new and making friends at the same time. The staff were enthusiastic, caring, and really encouraged the kids to get involved.As a parent, I felt completely reassured knowing he was safe, happy, and having fun. He’s already asking if he can go back next year! I can’t recommend Barracudas enough for families looking for a camp that’s exciting, supportive, and unforgettable.
