Before beechband i could not control my legs. Always shaking. I can stretch my legs out onto the coffee table now with no shaking. I can hold my phone in my hand easily. My anxiety was the first thing I noticed decreasing. I think this beechband is a miracle for me. My quality of life is so much better. Oh and my meds are reduced. Thank you.
I have Parkinson's, and this device has done more for me and my daily life than my doctor. For me the initial results were slow, but I persisted and now I feel hopeful that my improvements will continue. I can do things I thought were gone forever. I continue to get stronger. I would definitely recommend this Band to others.
This band has literally changed my life. My tremors have disappeared completely. I feel calmer, happier and it even helps with other issues I have. I am blessed to be a person whose life has been changed by such an affordable device. If anything goes wrong the customer service is second to none and it gets replaced free of charge. Honestly. I can't recommend it enough. It may not work for everyone, but at such an affordable price, in my view, anything not involving meds is worth a shot. For me it worked. I used to wear it all day. Now I wear it 3 hours a day. The new d100 is so much better. Within minutes of wearing it my tremor reduced. After 9 months its completely gone. Keep going team Beechband. Having read the reviews and reflected on my own personal experience, I felt compelled to add my voice. I am 3 years in to my journey living with Parkinson’s with symptoms like left hand tremor, fatigue and the start of speech issues exacerbated by fatigue.I too read the reviews on Beechband and decided to give it go. Parkinson’s is a very complex and very personal condition with over 40 symptoms. Therefore as two people's journeys are never them my expectations were that it wasn't a 'silver bullet'. But if it helped in any way, however small to make my life easier, then it would be worth it.Point 1: Set expectations. It is not a silver bullet. Unfortunately, if it doesn't work for you then that is not the beechbands fault however disappointing it may be. But persevere and give it time.Luckily for me it has stopped my left hand tremor when I wear it, although that returns less prominent once I remove it for charge. Evidence, seems to being gathered at great speed and already shows that the BeechBand shows benefit for many people over a diverse range of conditions. This is a start up company going through a rapid pace of growth and part of the cost of that is resourcing, especially in customer experience. So I would suggest to be mindful of this. The team are people with the greatest of integrity, humility and passion to improve people's lives by getting access to more people, in more places at an affordable cost. The founder has Parkinson's himself and I have followed his journey from the start. They are good people wanting trying to make a difference in other people's lives. BeechBand it not a scam - it is a real company with people who genuinely care about doing the right thing.I agree that the strap is difficult as I have got wide wrists and kept coming unclipped occasionally but it's not a game changer nor is the 4 hours or so it lasts. Infact, as I wear mine all day I plug myself in to the while on the sofa in the evening. So, in summary, and thankyou for indulging me if you have got this for:- it doesn't work for all but persevere - it's a not silver bullet so set realistic expectations- it's a fast growing start up company so there will always be teething problems- the product is of lower price point than many other products to reach more people- the people leading this do actually care about doing the right thing for the right reasons. Even the founder is a fellow Parky.It is a difficult journey for all of us. I would rather not live with Parkinson’s - but I do, but would rather read kind and respectful but honest comments and think of those who are genuinely trying to make a difference in other people's lives. 1.I have ordered 2 beech bands , both came through very quickly. 2. I then ordered the elasticated straps , which also came through quickly.3. The price is more than competitive.4. The webinars and general information is very useful and informative.5. And the band IS working .There’s the five stars , I wish I had more and I’ve recommended it to many including NHS professionals.
I bought one of the Beechbands and was instantly impressed with it. After about 30s it helped calm my tremor down and improve my speech. I continue to wear it and it has helped with anxiety and balance. Overtime there is a new version I buy one as the team keep improving it and they strive to keep it affordable and help people and charities that are often priced out by other products keep up the excellent work
My husband has Parkinson. On a visit to his Neurologist the Dr handed me a flyer about BeechBand as a non invasive vibrating band that was new and might be helpful for some of the effects of Parkinson. I ordered it immediately, as it wasnt expensive and I felt if it worked Great, if it didn't we would move on as we had 100 day to return it . The next thing we did was we went on the BeechBand Community Facebook page to read comments and see some users video's. My husband (a retired State Police Trooper) was absoutely sure the whole thing had to be fake/a scam, as some of the videos with the BeechBand turned off and then turned on, were so dramatic a change that it just couldn't be true. The day the BeechBand came I charged it up and my husband put it on his wrist and fell asleep sitting on the couch which was normal for him. 3 hours later I woke him up for a late lunch. He stood straight up without any help got off the couch, walked a normal stride without any studder steps, arms swinging as he walked. I said nothing and watched him walk down the hall. He needed absoutely no help from me at all . I started crying and he turned around ran to me (he hadnt run in years) and ask me what's wrong. I told him they were happy tears and told him all the things he just did. He hadn't even noticed. He gave me a big hug and said, "Look Im now taller than you again". Then we both laughed with happy tears.Now, as of today, we understand that only 25% of people get immediate results like he did. In the days since he has some days that he is dancing around, standing tall and arms swaying as he walks. Then there are days when his movement is harder. He now also has a smart watch with the App BeechBuddy added to his watch. His Dr has been able to remove the medications he was taking to relax and the medication to help with concentration. So to put this in a nut shell. You have 100 days to return it, it's non-invasive, it's not expensive and it could be a life changer for you, so give it a try.Both my husband and I truly feel that this (so simple) device has been and is truly a life changer for us both. You've got nothing to lose, give it a try.
BeechBand is so easy to work with. We ordered 2 shortly after they started to be available in the USA. We receiv3d them sooner than we expected. I have Parkinson's and I've used these bands at least 7 hours a day after I worked up gradually from one hour a day. My husband and I have both noticed my tremor is calmer and even stops for short periods of time! What a blessing that is!I feel these devices are very economical, when compared to other types of devices. It runs for three and a half hours, then I replace it with my charged one. I also appreciate that BeechBand gives 25% of profits to Parkinson's research, which shows you where the heart of this company is.Some people.say the band is troublesome, but I have no trouble with it, even though I use my tremor hand to put it on! The vibrating doesn't bother me. I'm excited they now have apps for smart watches. When I get a smart watch, I hope to try that, too. I love that this is a wearable - noninvasive. I don't do well with meds, so this approach appeals to me.The BeechBand is worth the money even for the benefit I've received so far. I'm looking forward to better days. I believe if I keep wearing it, I'll get even more help and maybe even be symptom free, like Carl.
