Purchased a Belsee head unit... the unit is good but took forever to arrive and they didn't ship until I contacted them for a tracking number after a few weeks. Then they wanted another $50 USD because of Covid. The unit definitely wasn't plug and play but once paying to have it installed it works good.I just ordered Dashcam... Again after 3 weeks I asked for a tracking number... They shipped it that day. If you want your unit in any sort of reasonable time contact them immediately. They don't even start to process your order until you complain.
Straight up Scammer.Same company as Phienix Automotive is what it loosk like whicha slo scams peopleThis dude they call Rambo sent me a email begiing not to ask for a refund cause he will send item.. Never sent it. So I opened a dispute with credit card. NEVER trust these people.
I worked with Rambo before, during, and after my purchase, and he did well by me. I purchased an Android 10 unit for my 2014 Toyota Avalon. I was willing to try anyone's radio after the Entune crap Toyota uses. I had two issues: I didn't notice the instructions provided in the Adobe .pdf with the installed apps, and the unit didn't have brackets that allowed a total factory install. I modified the bracket(1 hr) and read the .pdf...problems solved. Shipping time from China was better for me this time, who knows why. You cannot blame Rambo for shipping snafus, it's part and parcel with the shipping methods, companies, and Customs. My unit is just amazing. I read constantly about the low-tier amp on my Avalon vs, the JBL amp that came with more expensive models, and I believed them. The problem isn't the amp, it's the sorry Entune radio. This Belsee unit turned my audio experience around 180 degrees. I have had absolutely no problems in the two months I have had it.It has now been six months, and I wanted to update my review. So far, this unit has been stellar. I feel extremely fortunate considering the other reviews. Nothing has stopped working or even developed a hiccup. It still sounds awesome. Android Auto option now works well thanks to Google, and my phone updated to Android 11. I use the Agama Launcher and it works perfectly with this unit. I know this review will not negate any of the others, but that was not the intention anyway. I will have to admit that a package's trip from China or anywhere really, has to be a trip from hell. My box was a mess and I was scared $#&*less, but it was amazingly cushioned inside.
Gave 4 stars because it took about 5 weeks to get my radio. Just got it installed and so far it is extremely awesome. I love the looks and how responsive and fast it is. It has only been installed for a day so hopefully it won't change have any problems.
I purchased a Belsee unit to go in my 2018 Jeep Wrangler. Not only was it not plug and play as advertised, within one month the unit was defective. A loud screeching sound would come from the unit. At the advice of “Rambo”, I had the dash apart at least five times trying different fixes. None of which worked. I was told the motherboard needed replacing and I had to pay $100 for a new motherboard, which would be refunded when the old one was returned. I paid for and received the new motherboard which I had to have soldered into the unit. The unit still had the same problems after the new motherboard was installed. I was asked to send the unit back which I did at a shipping cost of $80 Canadian. I received notification from “Rambo” that the unit was received. He advised that they had stock and could send me a new unit but that due to Covid they wanted $60 for shipping. I was never reimbursed for the motherboard. I advised Rambo to deduct the shipping from the money they owe me for the motherboard. I have received no response and have not received a replacement unit. This company is corrupt and had has taken money under false pretences. I have allowed a lot of time to ship me the unit so they can not blame Covid. All attempts to contact the company have now been ignored. I have copies of every email exchange between Belsee and myself if anyone would like proof of dates and conversations.I would recommend customers file complaints with credit card companies and pay pal against this company as well as Ali Express for allowing the sale of this stuff on their site. If I ever hear back from Belsee I will post here.
Absolutely the worst customer service. They don’t respond directly to your questions and concerns!! Radios are trash and not as advertised. They have no intent on giving you a return address so you can get a refund on defective products!
