Last February 18, 2026, I successfully completed the 10-Day Amazing Northern Thailand Big Bike Tour with Big Bike Tours — and what an unforgettable journey it has been!
The entire adventure was incredible, scenic, and deeply memorable. Every twist of the mountain roads, every sweeping curve, and every breathtaking viewpoint made this experience truly special. I am sincerely grateful for every moment shared with such a wonderful, positive, and supportive group of riders. The camaraderie we built along the way made the journey even more meaningful.
Big Bike Tours delivered excellence from start to finish. Everything was organized with professionalism and precision — from the relaxing and comfortable accommodations, to the delicious local cuisine, and the exciting attractions thoughtfully planned at every stop. All we had to do was focus on the ride and enjoy the adventure.
Our tour leader, Mr. Torsten, demonstrated outstanding leadership throughout the entire 10 days — calm, steady, and always prioritizing safety while keeping the spirit of adventure alive. The support guide Mr. Whe, together with our dependable van driver and mechanic Mr. Tom, were consistently helpful, attentive, and highly efficient. Their teamwork ensured that every kilometer felt safe, smooth, and enjoyable.
Above all, I was deeply touched by the kindness of the Thai people we met throughout Northern Thailand — always welcoming, always smiling, and always ready to help. Their warmth truly adds something special to every ride in this beautiful country.
I am already looking forward to joining Big Bike Tours again in the future — hopefully to explore the southern part of Thailand next time. Until then, I will carry these amazing memories with me.

I cannot speak highly enough about this tour and company. Everything is sorted for you. From the pick up at the airport,delivery of the bikes, to the tour itself. The choice of stops is perfect. The quality of the hotels is excellent and the restaurants you have your lunches and evening meals are superb. We had the absolute pleasure of having Pong as our guide and I can say he was an amazing young man. We met a few of the other guides and they are all lovely people. We came for the second yeari a row and it was every bit as last year and didn't disappoint. If I can give one piece of advice is to try and encourage your friends to join you. We had a group of 8 and it worked excellently.
The group was too large . Since it was large it could have been broken into 2 speed/risk tolerances.There was not enough support staff as we generally did not have support at the rear of the group.People got left behind and lost a couple times.There were several tourist stops each day but no guide to provide insight into what we were looking at.The route was very good.The hotels were awesome.Food was OK.
Our guide Pong although young was really experienced on the areas we were riding. He gave a thorough briefing every morning on the road conditions to where were traveling that day and also in the evening to what we were doing next day. A good selection of motorcycles to choose from, with some most excellent rated biking routes in Thailand as part of the itinerary. Kay the co-owner very enthusiastic about motorcycling also made this a very enjoyable experience.
Just finished a 5 day tour of Northern Thailand- absolutely fantastic roads, scenery and company of like minded guys !Highly recommend @Bigbiketours.com - extremely professional with great attention to safety as well as Fast Riding 😉All luggage carried by mechanics following, who checked tyres and lubed chains etc, while we stayed in great hotels and ate and drank like Kings 😃
