These guys have been beyond awesome for me. After putting up with average NZ ISPs for past 20 years, can easily say these guys have been the most professional, knowledgeable and efficient guys I have ever dealt with. Maybe I just been lucky but every interaction has been very smooth. Reluctant to switch no matter how good the deals are for other ISPs.
Absolutely terrible customer service! The customer service staff called me and kept changing his words and gave me false information. His attitude and communication skills were absolutely disasterous and cunning! He kept yelling and hung up. This was my first time talking to Big Pipe and he surely ruined the company's image. I will never use their service and will never recommend to others. Also according to the staff's words, the company's policy is above NZ law! I have never seen such a company in my whole life. Be careful if you want to sign up with this company. They will not work under NZ law. After speaking to the customer service staff, I have found out that Big Pipe has their own policies above NZ law. After the phone call, he kept sending me emails to cover up what he did wrong during the conversation. His behaviour was absolutely cunnig, childish and unprofessional. He said he is a manager in the company and there is no one higher that I can talk to. I don't know what kind of customer service this is. There are many things that I want to address but in short, I will never buy or recommend their service. If there is zero star, I will give zero star. Even one star is too generous for the customer service I experienced.
I ordered my connect a month out from my moving date and they ordered my modem the day of the connection. Absolutely useless customer support they offered nothing to make up for their f#@k up and I have no internet for next next 2 weeks and I work from home.Additionally an update on the the support person I spoke to on the chat Jay Also thought this was funny and decided to give me a phone number to call that wasn't for bigpipe after assuring me that if I wanted to speak to someone above him to call the number.They do not care about their customers at all, do not go for bigpipe its the worst customer experience you will ever have in your life.
I have been with no internet for over a week now. Big pipe has done nothing about it and stopped replying to me 3 days ago. Sent a complaint to their complaints email address and still nothing. I have a 9 year old that has now fallen behind on school work because of it
We have been hit by the tornado and lost connection last Saturday. The connection hasn't been restored and they have been providing updates that it has been restored. This isn't the case and nobody has even visited the property since the incident. Their coordination with Chorus who is fixing the issue has been extremely poor and unprofessional. They update you on a week long outage as "You should be good to go". When you clearly aren't.
