Apparantly they have, unbeknowst to me, signed me up for a digital contract renewal service, where they have authority to agree renewals WITHOUT ME AGREEING TO IT.

I cannot find any paper work in relation to the contract, only emails telling me the contract they sourced has been set up.

When I contacted them they have refused to cancel the new contract they have agreed, I have already agreed a contract with another supplier, and my current company is blocking it due to Bionics agreement with them.

Apparantly I am not alone, google bionic reviews, there is even a facebook victim group.

I will be pursuing this legally and with the ombudsman. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE, there are better ways to find service contracts for energy.

Scam artists, set me up with the worst company on earth, edf, they were a nightmare from the get go, I complained to EDF and got nowhere, contacted the person who sold it to me to complain but got ignored of course. I want to go back to octopus who say I should be able to leave die to the misakes (missed appointments terrible communication etc) EDF say they can't cancel the contract (despite many, many failures on their part) and I have to do it through bionic, bionic say no because there is no cooling off period?! Can't believe I was tricked by a cold caller. Never again.

Caution: Automatic Contract Renewal!

Caution: Automatic renewal of contracts is in place, making it difficult to opt out! The agreement includes an auto-renewal clause. There are better options available for energy comparisons! Don't fall victim to this service or you may end up feeling cheated!

Unwanted automatic renewals

The service forces you into automatic renewals through deceptive fine print. They recently renewed two of our contracts without our explicit consent, despite having better rates already in place. They are relying on an authorization from seven years ago, signed by a director who has not been with the company for over three years! There were no phone calls or email confirmations; they simply renewed quietly to take their commission. It wouldn’t be as frustrating if their offer was better than what we found ourselves!
