Review Time
I used this company 10 years ago and they were good. This time - absolutely terrible. I phoned (which took ages to answer) and was transferred but then cut off. I then phoned again (ages to answer) and they took my phone number and said someone would call me back. I waited 5 hours - no call. So I sent an email and filled in the contact form on their website. It's now 24 hours and still no reply. What is going on? Would you trust this company with your legal matters? I will use someone else - which is a pity because I live in Tadcaster and, apart from the convenience, I like to support local businesses. Also (just an observation) the exterior of their premises, which were always pristine, is now scruffy and not maintained. I did wonder if they had gone out of business. I am scoring 1 star but they do not even deserve that.
Avoid this company. They failed to reply to my emails and also refused to return my calls. Documents have been lost and they refuse to admit it. We've changed Solicitors despite our family using Bromets for the last 100 years!A truly stressful experience lately.
Avoid at all cost. Unreliable in every way. Quoted one price and charged significantly more with no explanation or breakdown of costs. Fail to reply to messages by phone and email and having held a meeting and given promises of response they never did. Unprofessional and rude in every way
Do not supply this company with anything on account, they don't pay their bills!We've been owed £792.00 since May and they refuse to pay. They don't even bother returning emails, calls or anything. Even went and spoke to a director who promised to pay and still nothing. Now will have to take it legal! From: Class Office Equipment Ltd
It's hard to know where to start. I was unable to ever speak to anyone, emails were left unanswered and then replies often came through at 9pm on Sunday evenings. Important documents sent by registered post were mislaid within the office. Duplicate forms were sent out and the conveyancing process - first time buyers and no chain - took far too long. They are clearly short staffed and too many mistakes were made. By the end I had zero confidence in the firm.
