I was really impressed with the selection of items available and the number of different themes covered. I bought some sci-fi-themed sets for a few Christmas gifts, but made a note of the very good nature-themed sets for my own Christmas list. Items arrived very quickly given the time of year and that they travelled from Germany to the UK. They were well packaged, too, and good value.
Terrible experience with the service! I placed my order at the end of November and was initially pleased that it was marked ready for delivery so quickly. However, that's where the positive experience ended. According to the tracking information, my package has been stuck at their facility since December 4. I reached out to them three times and only received one response before being ignored. I even opened a case with the payment platform to try to get my money back.
I ordered and paid for two items, but the company shipped only one without any prior notice. The shipment took two weeks, and I received an invoice for the full order just before delivery. It took four more days to receive a credit note stating the second item was out of stock. Both were intended as gifts, and due to the mishandling and lack of communication, I couldn't request a replacement or find an alternative in time.
Great set at a very reasonable price! It was well-packaged, and the shipping costs were fair. Building the set was enjoyable, and the model is beautiful. The colors are lovely and the fitment quality was impressive. While it may not match the top brands, I have no complaints overall. I believe the age recommendation of 10+ is misleading; I would rate it 18+ due to some challenging techniques. Personally, I managed fine, but younger builders might struggle. I was missing one small piece but resolved it with spare parts. There was also an unused large piece that puzzled me. I would certainly recommend this to building block enthusiasts!
