STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY - THEY WON'T RETURN OUR $30,000 DEPOSIT AFTER THEY WERE UNABLE TO SUPPLY THE FINANCED MACHINE THEY PROMISED.
We paid $30,000 to Carol Cong at Bodor on November 11, 2025 for a laser required for an urgent project starting in the new year, and were promised a unit that was inbound for delivery mid-December 2025. Bodor's financing partners then proceeded to jerk us around for the next 3.5 months, asking for one or two new documents every week, until finally turning us down.
Upon receiving a definitive refusal on financing approval after 3.5 months, we contacted a competing laser vendor, BesCutter in Orlando, and received excellent service and a full financing approval in 1 week.
We contacted Carol Cong on February 15, 2026 requesting Bodor return our deposit immediately so we can move-on and purchase the BesCutter laser that we are approved for.
Carol and Bodor have been refusing to re-pay our deposit since that day, insisting we try to re-apply with other financing companies (which we did), wasting another 2 weeks without a laser, then claiming they would provide in-house financing, but only offering it on a much smaller laser that is of no use to us, at a much higher deposit cost, and not available for 8-9 weeks.
This experience with Bodor has been nothing short of terrible, and the lost revenue and opportunity cost associated with the delays they have incurred have eclipsed the machine cost.
UPDATE - March 14, 2026
After leaving this review, Viola Liu reached out and offered an option to pay back our deposit minus "fees" she claimed were our responsibility due to the duration it took for their financing partners to review our application and provide a definitive response.
Her proposed "fees" were as follows:
1) Warehouse storage fee: $25,906
2) Stock reservation/cancellation cost: $39,360
For a total of $65,266 (or $35,266 more than our deposit)
Viola is now insinuating Bodor will invoice us for this additional amount.
Meanwhile we have lost more than the price of the machine in delayed cutting revenue. Keep in mind that BesCutter had us approved in 1 week.

We bought a Bodor Fiber Laser Cutting Machine F3015 with a 3 KW IPG Laser back in 2021. We nearly only have problem with this company, and will definitely NOT recommend any other to buy from there. First of all. They not send a service technician to install the machine as promised. It was under corona, and they don't want to give the engineers Pfizer or asta zeneca vaccination, so they was allowed to enter Kuwait, and now after 3 years we still have seen the technician here, Also we had problem with laser after under 500 running hours due to leak in head adaptor. It was leaking water. Seems like the protection was forgeten to be installed by Bodor when they connect the laser with head in China. And it was sealed and we never have it apart. Anyway we send laser for repair in china, and get it back with new fiber cable, that was now 5 meter longer than old one. Now there was protection on Laser. But it can still not cut, and we have to order new Head also. And pay for technician to come here. Even if we ever had one here for installation and training training. They are VERY difficult to deal with. And you can not get proper documentation for Laser Head. Even the new one we want to buy they say they dont have documentation on.
We purchased a 6KW laser cutting machine from Bodor, Sales -Steven & Andrew came here to install and debug it. Now the machine runs great and meets our requirements, Thanks to Mr. Steven & Andrew. We planning to buy 1more soon........
Lee, an engineer from Bodor, came to Balkania to install the machine. He is very friendly and kind. Work seriously and responsibly. He installed it very quickly and then demonstrated his high level of expertise during commissioning. He explained very patiently. We have become close friends. We had a great time getting along this week.
I have only positive things to say about how well Yongyi Jiang, or Richard, did with our start up. Richard was professional and extremely knowledgeable on how to dial in our machine with different thicknesses in material. I’m 100% satisfied with Richard’s service as well as his follow up contact he has made with me to check in to see how the machine is running. The machine seems to be running well, after Richard's exit and his follow up communication has been second to none.
Every five star review here is fake, these machines are complete money wasters, so much material scrapped, and whenever we have to turn the machine on to do something you have to pray that it doesnt crash itself on its own axes. Laser cutter is as accurate as trying to kill a fly with a shovel in a glass roomUpdate Dec30 2025The reply from Bodor below is outrageous, we should of burnt the money for heat instead of buying a Bodor Laser, we now have a Dener laser and were much happier. Bodor, quit reporting the one star reviews, and quit faking the 5 star ones.
