We booked a Thailand package with Book My Bharat and had a very disappointing experience due to multiple service failures and lack of accountability.

The agency failed to confirm our selected hotel on time despite advance payment, later providing incorrect information about availability. We were forced to accept a lower-value alternative, resulting in financial loss.

A key issue was the downgrade of a full-day Krabi island tour to a half-day tour without prior notice. This was acknowledged by the agent during the trip, but even after more than a month, no explanation or refund has been provided.

Additionally, the Phi Phi Island tour did not include Maya Bay, despite prior confirmation. There was no response when this was raised during the trip.

We also had to pay extra at the hotel due to a booking error by the agency, with a refund promised but still not processed.

Repeated follow-ups regarding refunds and timelines have been ignored, with the agency citing internal coordination issues instead of taking responsibility.

Overall, the experience reflects poor planning, lack of transparency, and no accountability after payment. I would strongly advise others to reconsider before booking with this agency.

Thuggs of Delhi is what I wuld call them. I m not an agent, nor from a marketing team or posting on behalf of any1. I m a customer of Book my Bharat and hav all the proof to show dat each n everything mentioned below is genuine and was faced by us. D review is too big but worth reading if u are investing ur hard earned money. We were a group of 6 who travelled to Baku using services from this chor agency n faced a lot of nightmares later. An agent Karan Roy was appointed to help us plan our trip. He sold us d plan n once we transferred him money, he stopped picking up the call or had d courtesy to even reply to our msgs. Our msgs were ignored and never replied to. This is such an illiterate team that even after sending them pictures of passports having our names, most of our bookings had wrong spellings. Even after the terms of payment were decided, every 2nd day some random person from the group used to msg asking to transfer the money. When we asked for visa, we were again asked for money. As we had to exchange currency which is not possible without having visa, we asked them to provide us the e visa asap. One more false promise and we received the visa 4 days before departure. We had 2 members who had back issues and we requested them to upgrade our seats. During this conversation we were promised by Karan of the same asking to pay 5.5k each where he wil book the Azal plus seat which wil have more leg space, more comfort along with some angle of recliner too. We agreed to this coz of the health issues however later realised that the seats were booked in economy. We dint pay them the extra amount however when we reached Baku, we were threatened to pay the balance of this. We did show them the boarding pass and confirmed that we dint get the extra benefits however bcoz we were not in India, the owner of this agency asked his employees to stop our services immediately and cancel the return flight for us which means the next 5 days we will spend only in the hotel or pay more if we wish to move around. A female member of our group called the owner but he was so bloody rude to her and shouting at top of his voice asking to pay the money at any cost. The main pinch was here when we were abroad and had to pay this extra cost of 5.5k per head, a total of 33000 more just to make sure we can continue with our trip. We were helpless there and hence called one of their team members asking to help us as whatever was the case we were not at fault. We made sure to record this call where we asked her if whatever was happening, was it right. She too confirmed that this is not something where she can help us and her boss has asked them to stop our remaining trip with immediate effect. We have a good 10+ minutes recording which we shot while in the hotel of Baku where it's clearly recorded that we have to pay more if we wish to continue. Once we reached India and raised this topic again, the owner behaved rude and asked us to do whatever we want. They easily fool people stating the negative comments on Google are posted by some agent but I am a customer, have all the proofs, chats, recordings, call logs. The owner is least bothered about negative reviews as he can manipulate the customers that these are fake. Anyone wishes to see the proofs can contact me. When spoke about filing this in court, he stated that his father was a judge and hence he dint care of any case, if filed. I even tried contacting their ground team of Baku with my concerns however, in vain. I had no option but to post a review as I do not want anyone else to face this torture and screw their trip. When we are abroad we had no choice but to pay this amount in order to return to India and then ask for a refund which we dint get. I have the boarding pass where the category is mentioned as Economy. We want to go on a trip to relax and not to face such torture. I request each of you reading this to book your leisure trip from some other agent but not Book my Bharat. They are least bothered about negative reviews, I encourage everyone not to use their services. Social media is really strong and hence I am using this platform to warn everyone to avoid any bookings from them

🚨 Warning About Our Experience with Book My Bharat (Travel Company)#ConsumerAwareness #Delhi #TravelScam #BookMyBharat In August, we booked our trip through a travel company called Book My Bharat, paid them an advance of ₹10,000 & they are now denying for a refund.Initially, everything seemed fine, but after a few weeks, we came across several negative reviews online alleging fraudulent behaviour by the same company.Concerned, we reached out to our assigned sales agent name Rachit Mahajan and requested confirmation of our hotel bookings and some basic ID verification to ensure legitimacy. Instead of helping, the team repeatedly avoided our requests. The only information they kept sharing was a [Booking ID: 87011450] without any official confirmation or hotel voucher with our names on it.After multiple follow-ups, they eventually shared an email—but again, our names were not mentioned in the hotel confirmation. When we expressed our concerns and asked for a refund, we were treated very rudely by the manager, Sumit Malik Sumit Malik who outright refused to cooperate and stated that “the company isn’t running for free,” demanding a penalty for any cancellation. However, no such cancellation policy was stated before or amidst the discussions.To make matters worse, they shared questionable Aadhaar ID cards, which raised further red flags.We have retained: • WhatsApp chats • The payment receipt PDF • Email evidenceWe are now sharing this scam by Book My Bharat to alert others, especially in Delhi and NCR, to be cautious before trusting this company with your travel plans.We hope no one else has to go through this kind of mental stress and financial loss before their special trip.If anyone has faced something similar, feel free to connect.

Do not go with them

Do not go with them. Cheap company and they refused to even refund is even after we cancelled because of issues going on Nepal. I am going to go to court against them. If anyone else have faced similar issue, please contact me.

Sumit Malik the fraud. Sumit Malik the scamster. He is one of the owners and is not returning our money. 14 June was our slated travel date to Hong Kong which ofcourse he and his team messed up . They applied for visa just few days before travel.Sumit Malik is very rude, will blackmail you and threaten in terms of not giving your money back. No owner behaves like this.It's been 6+ months and he has still not returned our money. We paid around 3 lac for this trip.If you select him then good luck getting your holidays done and even good luck getting your money back.
