Review Time
Today was my first day ever at Boscov’s and I must say it wasn’t the best experience. I wanted to start with curtains so I met Paula in this department. She was very friendly n tried to be helpful . When it came to check out that’s when it went south! My credit cards wouldn’t work n she had to order one panel which threw everything off! Took forever. I was patient until I couldn’t be anymore. I had planned on look at the clothes, however I was done at that point. Afraid to go back !
I visited for gift wrapping and had an awful encounter at the service desk. When I asked about wrapping a CD I purchased, the representative treated me rudely and spoke to me with disrespect. Despite my attempts to remain polite, he was very unfriendly. I can't understand why the company would employ someone like this in a customer service role.
I attempted to use my military discount at a local store, and despite having the necessary paperwork, the representative was unhelpful and rude. She discarded my paperwork without explanation. I later learned from customer service that I could use it if my name matched, but the experience was very frustrating.
My order never arrived. I called multiple times to speak with someone, but was put on hold for an excessive amount of time. Very disappointing service. The order was placed online, and even though a shipping ticket was generated, the item never shipped.
I would give zero stars if I could. I tried to place an online order, but the checkout process kept failing and my cart emptied. Despite being charged for the order, it never appeared in my purchase history and I received no confirmation email. I’ve spent over an hour on hold trying to reach customer service, with no luck. I will never do business with this company again.
I enjoy shopping here, but I preferred it before the rearrangement of the store. It was much more organized and easier to navigate. Now, items are scattered, making it challenging to find what I need. I wish they would revert to the previous layout.
I wanted to order online using my credit card but was told it was frozen due to inactivity, even though I had used it recently. I had to use a different card instead. When I contacted customer service, they were unaware of the issue. Additionally, the item I ordered was of poor quality. I’ve decided to stop shopping with them.
