I contacted Buffalo Trace distillery and they confirmed that they do NOT distribute to Bottle Buzz. Additionally, Bottle Buzz offers scarcely available bourbons, such as
Pappy Van Winkle and Blanton’s, in quantities of greater than a dozen. Come on. Further research showed they also don’t have a legitimate business address. Do your research. Don’t pay hundreds of dollars to purchase overpriced swill dressed as liquid gold.
I ordered an expensive whiskey bottle with a personal message intended for a business partner. It later turned out that they shipped the wrong bottle and sent my order — including the personal message — to someone else. They refuse to fix their mistake. I’ve been trying to resolve this with them for six weeks now without success. This has been a very frustrating experience, and I will never order from here again.

If there was a negative rating option I would choose it. They sent the wrong, cheaper bottle (which seems to be a common occurrence if you look into their reviews, wish I had) and then asked me to have the recipient of the gift send it back at their expense for a refund. There was no apology, and no attempts to send the correct item.

DO NOT USE BOTTLE BUZZ. WOST SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN AS A CONSUMER. Delivered the wrong bottle after numerous weeks and when asked for a refund or the correct bottle shipped they turned down the request. Offered me a credit in store that was for $20. Initial order was $175. Does that make any remote sense? I ordered a 1.75L bottle of top shelf vodka as a gift to a superior and they sent three small bottles of pear flavored Absolut. Said don’t worry just have this senior executive who I was GIFTING something to fill out a return label find a box and ship it back. Why on earth would I ask someone to do that when this was a gift? Why is it their responsibility? Disaster of a customer service experience. There are so many online bottle delivery services don’t use them.
NEVER buy from this place. I tried to cancel my order due to finding cheaper price elsewhere, but they told me they need to charge 10% cancellation fee as the order has been sent to a fulfillment center. This is bullsh!t as I try to cancel within 10 hours of placing the order. Worse they said it may take 1-9 days to ship out the order. After 3 days they still haven’t shipped my order. This means they did not have my order in the fulfillment center when I try to cancel. NEVER buy from this place.
I almost never leave reviews—I'm an ecommerce retail owner myself—but this experience was so unacceptable that it deserves to be called out. I placed an order for a $200+ bottle of scotch and was told it would ship within 1–9 business days. Instead, after waiting 10 full business days, my order was abruptly cancelled because the item was “out of stock.”If I ran my business this way, I wouldn’t be doing the volume of business I do today. A company that can’t track inventory, set accurate expectations, or communicate proactively will never grow.
