We recently moved house and B&B dealt with our sale and purchase. We also used them on a previous move, six years ago.Where do I start? EXCELLENT and attentive service from Natasha and Laura!When planning for this move, I did consider using one of the online solicitors that have a central call-centre type setup. It would have saved us a couple of hundred pounds but I'm SO GLAD I didn't! Unfortunately, our first-time buyer did use an online solicitor up in Bradford I think and it was a total nightmare. Our buyer, B&B and our estate agent simply couldn't ever get to talk to anyone. It was clear they had too many clients or not enough staff and rarely replied to anyone. Natasha at B&B did say that at one point she had 14 unrelpied to emails. It certainly cost us a couple of extra months as they repeatedly brought up queries and then said they had been resolved to then bring them up again and waste time.This certainly wasn't the experience we had with Natasha and B&B - Natasha or Laura were always available and responded sometimes within minutes and maximum within a day. We had many conversations and Natasha clearly explained the processes and where we stood with the issues caused by the online solicitor. It was great to have that support and guidance through an incredibly stressful experience, all caused by the buyers' solicitor.I would wholeheartedly recommend Natasha and the team. Thanks for all your hard work!
Lizzy and Simon were amazing! Lizzy in particular kept us completely up to date with everything going on in our chain, was constantly chasing the solicitors at the bottom of our chain (who were quite frankly horrific!!!) and even on moving day when our buyers solicitors messed up, Lizzy managed to get it all resolved so we could still move on the correct day. As a person who likes to be completely in control, Lizzy made me feel at ease and I didn’t have to chase her at all. Cannot recommend them enough!
How rude can they be. If you basically ever have to do anything ever that requires a lawyer. Do not touch this unprofessional rude and petty firm. They are happy to take the money when it suits but god forbid they have to work 5 extra minutes in a day. It is very clear that their time is more important than yours. I am sure that they are used to that being that way but some us work harder than solicitors and have more constraints and need them to understand that we are the paying customers and they are providing a service. We are not there for their convenience and they need to move around our schedules not their own. If you want lesson in how not to handle a compliant then try and complain to this firm and see how that works out for you. The only reason I did not bother reporting their appalling conduct to the SRA is simply that I don't have the time to waste dealing with them as they just are not worth it.
Sally Williams at Bower Bailey helped us through what turned out to be a very stressful and difficult house move. Sally and her colleague Rachel were both amazing, and really helped to make the process as smooth as it possibly could be. I always knew that they were on the ball, no chasing up ever required! Although always professional, Sally's friendly and down to earth manner was very welcome and comforting throughout. Cannot recommend highly enough!
