I had 2 flat tyre incidents, and the same responder attended each time. He arrived within 30 minutes and sorted my tyres out on both occasions, in a timely manner. He was both friendly and professional.
This review is based on a single callout and the customer support I received concerning an error that led to the creation of two accounts, which was pointed out by the representative during my call. First, the technician arrived in just 20 minutes since it was around 3 AM and traffic was minimal. He efficiently diagnosed the issue and completed the repair in about 30 minutes. I reached out to the customer service team about the duplicate accounts. A representative named Chloe clarified that this occurred because one policy was acquired with one service, while the other was with a related company, which operates on a separate system. They were unaware of the overlapping coverage as the accounts were not linked. The second account was promptly canceled, and I received a full refund for it.
Although I haven't needed to use my breakdown insurance, I've had it for years and find it reasonably priced for peace of mind. Switching the cover to my new car was effortless, and I received a prompt response from the support team.
They make it incredibly hard to get in touch, directing people to an online chat that takes days. I needed assistance on a Sunday morning, but they refused help unless I paid over £300. I feel let down as I pay for coverage against emergencies. I won't be renewing my policy and advise others to look elsewhere.
I tried to change my breakdown policy to another vehicle. Their website led me to a contact form, and while I got a quick initial reply, follow-ups took days. I ended up opening another ticket which was resolved the same day. The lack of a phone number and availability of agents was very frustrating. I will be switching providers because of this.
