Slow dating experience

The concept of 'slow dating' is frustrating, especially when actual dating feels non-existent! I've had just one match in over eight months. The streak feature is poorly designed; dates show up at 7 PM and disappear the next day, allowing for new matches at 7 PM again. However, you only have from 7 PM to midnight to maintain the streak, even if you could use it the next morning within the 24-hour window. Losing the streak affects the algorithm, leading to matches that aren't genuinely potential. Overall, it's a waste of time!

Disappointing experience with the app

I've tried this app three times, giving it ample opportunity to work for me. Each time I arranged a date after a match, but the results were unsatisfactory. The first match was okay at first, but became unbearable, leading me to stop seeing him. The second match misrepresented himself, failing to mention he had children, which I found out later and was a deal breaker for me. The third match did the same, revealing he had two kids during our date, which made things quite awkward for me. I love kids but prefer to have my own and don’t want to date someone already committed as a parent. I’m fed up with the dishonesty. While I understand the app can't control liars, I would have saved my time, effort, and money if I could communicate better to filter them out. I've been disappointed too many times; the app is utterly useless for me now. It's a waste of my resources that I won't get back. I’ll stick to other less effective options or pursue connections in real life. The app seems to favor men who can easily secure dates through deception, but it’s frustrating for women with specific preferences who don’t want to be misled. I also found it incredibly difficult to get a refund once payment was made and a date fell through.

Disappointing Experience with Deceitful Matches

I gave this app three attempts, hoping for a better outcome. Three dates were arranged, but the first match ended poorly due to his obnoxious behavior. I tried again, only to discover my second match had kids, which he failed to mention—definitely a deal breaker for me. The third match also misled me about having children, which made for an awkward situation on our date. I enjoy kids, but I want to start my own family and not date someone already committed as a parent. I'm frustrated with the dishonesty. While I understand the app can't control liars, better messaging options could have saved me time and money. After being let down twice, I find this app utterly useless. I might as well stick to other subpar apps or real-life dating. It seems to favor men who can easily get dates through deception, while women with specific preferences are left frustrated. Beware of the difficulty in obtaining refunds once they have your money, especially if a date is canceled.

Promising Idea, Poor Implementation

The app has a refreshing concept, especially with the issue of dating fatigue in mind; traditional apps often create an overwhelming situation that makes genuine connections harder to achieve. While the app technically works, I've found the limited profiles each day align well with my preferences. However, the location choices for dates lack consideration, as demonstrated by my first date, which was convenient for me but took him over an hour to reach. The venue was a noisy bar, not ideal for a first date. Thankfully, we managed to laugh it off and moved to a better spot. For the second date, we've been assigned a location far from both of us, which feels unnecessary. Although there's a chat function to voice concerns, responses can take up to 48 hours, making it ineffective since we only receive location details 24 hours in advance. I plan to suggest a different venue on the day, but that will likely incur financial loss, which feels unfair. Overall, the app has great potential but needs significant improvements.

Avoid This Service - Untrustworthy

I strongly advise against using this service. I had a date planned for tonight and had already paid for it. I just received a message stating that they have no partner venues available, so they've switched my date to a walk in the rain and will only refund half of my payment. I requested a full refund due to their error, but they refused, insisting it's their fee for matching me and suggested I find my own venue instead. Why should I pay full price for something I've already covered? It's absolutely a scam!

Not Worth It If You're Outside London

If you're located outside of London, this app isn't for you. They simply lack enough users in other areas. The algorithm fails to deliver on preferences, and even with broad criteria, I was only matched with two potential partners. I selected multiple cities within an hour's travel and still found very few options. It may have potential for the future, but at this moment, I can't recommend it.

Frustrating Experience with Limited Control

This app is incredibly frustrating, offering users no control over date preferences. I don’t wish to date someone with children or someone seeking casual relationships, yet the app misguides you into believing you can filter these options, only to end up matched with someone unsuitable. Cancelling once realizing a mismatch results in account freezes, which is unacceptable. This app has the potential to be the best on the market, but its greed in restricting filters for profit will be its downfall.

Subpar Experience

This app is disappointing—the algorithm doesn't function well, and the distances between dates are often excessive. Plus, they do not provide refunds! I cannot recommend it.

Questionable Concept

The idea behind this app is puzzling. Not being able to communicate with your date until just four hours before meeting is absurd. What if you discover no common interests? That's £9.50 wasted, and the app selects the venue, making it feel contrived. At least with other apps, you can get to know people beforehand. This idea is poorly executed.

Surprisingly Great Experience

I’m puzzled by the negative feedback! The locations I've visited in the city have been excellent. I enjoyed a cocktail bar and a nice wine bar that were truly enjoyable! The app's simplicity is fantastic. Don't let the negative reviews deter you.
