If I could rate this lower, I would! This driving school should be avoided at all costs. They ignore complaint letters and you can't reach a senior staff member. They owe me money, and I'm still waiting four months after my initial complaint! DO NOT WASTE your money.
My lessons are frequently cancelled. No one shows up, and there's no communication or apologies. It's been a terrible experience, and I would not recommend this service to anyone. I relied on them for so long and am extremely disappointed. Why book lessons consecutively if no one shows up?
I passed my driving test on my first try with my instructor, and I can't thank him enough. He is an exceptional instructor—punctual, clear, and organized. He knew all the test routes and taught me everything I needed to know, which built my confidence to pass. Thanks to his patience, I now feel confident driving alone, even as a beginner. I truly recommend him for productive and enjoyable lessons. Thank you so much!
Despite having trained to drive in another country and feeling apprehensive about learning in a new city, my instructor was calm and patient. He provided exactly the guidance I needed to successfully pass my test on the first attempt. Very competent and knowledgeable, he left me with valuable tips and good driving practices that I will carry forward.
Had Rahan as the driving instructor and he's stellar. Was able to learn how to drive well from zero experience within a couple of lessons.Very patient with any mistakes made, and didn't stress me out when things went wrong.Highly recommend if you get nervous on the road
I wasn't exactly a natural driver, but through Rahan's patience and awareness of what I needed to work on we got there in the end. He spoke about certain aspects of the car that made the whole process make so much more sense and for someone who knew very little about driving before I started learning this was very helpful. Because of his teaching I feel super confident on the roads and am loving driving!
I highly recommend Brittania Driving School.I am so glad to have chosen Britannia Driving School and was the best thing that ever happened to me. I am a driver for 33 years in another country and decided to get my drive license in UK. At first I had another driving school but the instructor made me so nervous that I didn’t want even to do the test. My husband then told me to contact Britannia and get a new instructor. The school send me Mr. Leslie to teach me and he was brilliant! Very inspiring man that helped me to build my confidence again and do the test. I pass at the first time! Tony is an exceptional driving instructor—calm, patient, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire learning process. I contacted Britannia looking for driving lessons and was quickly put in contact with Mario who ended up being my instructor for 5 months, and took me from never having driven a car to passing my driving test first try in a manual. He was an excellent teacher and struck the right balance between encouragement and constructive criticism, as well as being good company for all those hours behind the wheel. Every lesson was a pleasure. Can’t recommend highly enough.
I tried Britannia Driving School after being with a previous instructor and failing a test. I was in desperate need of an instructor who would be patient, dedicated and teach me everything I needed. I was taught by Jon F. for nearly 2 years and I could not recommend enough! He went above and beyond to help me calm my nerves (there were plenty), test my skills and allow me to feel a safe and confident driver by the time I passed. He knew all the routes that I needed for the test and taught me rules of the road my previous instructor had never bothered to teach. He was insightful and dedicated on the job. He never gave up on me or gave me the impression he didn't want to continue teaching me, even after a few fails at the test which were mostly down to nerves and panic on the day. Jon was punctual, never took away time off our lessons, was flexible with his days and time.I truly feel we covered everything we could before I passed in March. I never felt I couldn't do something when in that driving seat! Thank you so much to both Jon and Britannia for not only helping me to pass my driving test but teaching me how to drive for life.
