Beware !! I ordered Heart guard Plus and Nextgard for my dog from budget vet care. When I started to wonder why I hadn’t received it I tracked it and found it was coming from Shanghai. When it finally did arrive I compared it to the boxes of medicine my was taking and found them to be similar but not the same that I bought here in the USA. I called and ask to return. They told me to just say return to sender which couldn’t be done because I had already opened it. They finally sent me an envelope to return to United Kingdom. When I tried to mail that the USPS wouldn’t take without customs declaration. When I went back to post office with the custom declaration they said you can’t mail prescriptions drugs to other countries even though they didn’t require a prescription. I called them once more and was told to take to a different post office and say it was pet products. Then they hung up on me. So they’re expecting me to lie to return their fake products. I ask for a US address but apparently there isn’t one. For some reason they refunded my money without returning the products. When I tried to dispute the charge on my credit card they had already returned my money.
Purchased some Nexgard for our dog a few months ago. After using twice (two months) it is not working. We average pulling 50 ticks off of her every single day. If we miss some, they become engorged. This medication is not working at all. I tried to see if I could exchange the medication for a different batch and was told they are unable to do an exchange...of course, that's because it will cost me $40.00 more to order now than what I paid in March. I have been waiting for about a month for a return envelope and it still has not arrived. Also, I was told that they are unable to give me a refund for the two used ones. When I said I want a full refund...that the chews didn't work, I was told that the ticks are getting immune to Nexgard. When I said ... so... you're saying that Nexgard isn't working anymore on ticks, he backtracked and said that it works fine. Which is it?? It cannot be both. I don't know if the ticks are becoming immune to current medications or if this was a bad / old batch. I guess we need to get chickens and guinea hens to get rid of the ticks instead. It's probably better for our dogs anyway to not have to ingest something that puts enough poison into their blood to kill something that bites them. That can't be good for her long-term health.
I have ordered from this site several times. I’ve never encountered an issue. This is a legitimate site. Some reviewers are blaming the site on their own technical issues. My guess is also some vet offices are posting bad reviews trying to retain prescription business in their vet office. These guys have a very limited list of items they offer, but they do secure your transaction, ship your item when you order it, and it arrives in the original manufacturer box with expiration dates like year or two out. Check your spam (junk) email folder if you don’t see your order confirmation email in the inbox. Check your web page URL carefully to make sure you are going to the real site. Many people get scammed by going to wrong websites that pop up in a google search or a fake ad on social media- scammers create sites that are set up to look similar to the real one, so always check the website URL. Look for misspellings and such.
Twice I ordered a medication for my dog. Twice it was canceled without an explanation. The first time, I was told via the online chat that the order was canceled because I never responded to an inquiry for more information (which I never received). The second time, I was told via a phone call to them that the order was canceled because the item was out of stock. BOTH TIMES, when I (calmly) asked a follow-up question, the agent hung up on me. And I still don't have the medicine for my dog.
I started ordering Nexgard and Heartgard from BudgetVetCare 4 years ago for 2-60+lb dogs, one of which had heartworms. We live in the south and my dogs NEVER have fleas or ticks and my heartworm+ dog tested negative after taking this Heartgard for 12 months. We now have another large dog and they all take Simparica Trio, which would be unaffordable without BudgetVetcare! We also have an indoor/outdoor cat that we order Revolution for.I agree that shipping can take time, but considering it's shipped overseas, I understand! I've had to cancel orders and have never had a problem getting a refund. Budget VetCare has been a lifesaver! 100% recommend!
LOVE THEM!! I have been using budget vet care.com for around two years now. I’ve never had problems with ordering and shipping is quite rapid. I once had to change some things in my order, and all I had to do was call customer service and they fixed it without issue. I currently started my 50 pound dog on Simparica Trio. I literally got a 12 month supply of that for a grand total of $66.69 (because of their promotional discount, that I did it on auto ship, and the fact that I still had credits from prior orders.) If you ordered that anywhere else, it would be well over $400–& that’s without shipping!! This is the only place I will order pet supplies! By the way, I let everyone I know who owns pets about this website THANK YOU!!💖
