Avoid Renting with This Company!

This company is exploitative. Renting from them was a major error. They charge excessively and become unreachable when you need assistance. For instance, they billed six tenants $50 each to replace and 'install' a microwave, providing an old rusted unit likely picked up from the street, with the 'installation' amounting to simply placing it on a shelf. AVOID renting from this company at all costs! It's astonishing they haven't faced severe legal consequences yet, likely because they know tenants can't afford to pursue a lawsuit.

The process was straight forward and easy to complete the lease. The constant emails and text messages were irritating. Contact by phone would be more effective

This was not what it looked like and…

This was not what it looked like and was advertised.. My son moved far from the city due to the lower rent offered by Bungalow, along with the promise of one month free rent. When he moved in, the room was dirty... he had some unforeseen issues and lost his job. I tried to take over payments and it took me over 2 weeks to actually be able to speak with someone who would not allow me to make payments unless I signed up on his portal, I was advised of him being evicted AFTER I contacted them. They are now holding this over my head in exchange for a very hefty bill, which includes some very creative fees never mentioned before. False advertising and they are taking advantage of people.

This company is a complete scam

This company is a complete scam. They will charge you $1200 a month, add on a service fee of $250 a month then also add on $300 a month for each resident of the house in made up utility fees. They take days to respond to maintenance requests and then charge the occupants of the house for those maintenance requests. DO NOT EVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! They are by far the worst company I have ever rented from and should be sued.

Charged Twice for Work I Rejected in Writing - Incompetent Customer Support

I was a satisfied 3-year Bungalow resident and regularly recommended them to friends. Not anymore.What happened:Bungalow demanded I pay to remove previous tenants' trash from the garageI explicitly rejected this in writing, stating it was not my responsibilityThey promised to review with their "legal team" and get back to meThey never responded, but sent someone to clean anywayCharged me $112.50 without authorization with 4 housematesWhen I demanded a refund with full documentation, they refusedThen charged me AGAIN a second time for the same workAlso charged roommates who weren't even living there when this happened, total of 6 housematesCustomer support:Multiple representatives (Eduardo, Mario, Maykol, Ana, Gisselle) gave contradictory information, ignored documented evidence, and provided vague non-responses like "if adjustments are applicable, you'll see them in your ledger."Bottom line: Bungalow will charge you for things you explicitly reject in writing, refuse to refund you even with proof, then charge you again. Their customer support is incompetent at best, predatory at worst.I tried resolving this privately for months. They chose not to.

Unsanitary and filthy

I was genuinely excited about this move and looking forward to living here, but that excitement turned into frustration the moment I walked through the door.On my move-in day, as I began bringing my belongings inside, I was appalled by the condition of the property. It is unacceptable to hand over keys to a tenant when a unit looks like this. Specifically:• The General Cleanliness: The carpets were filthy and stained. The toilet, sinks, and floors were all very dirty.• The Shower: This was the worst part. It was filled with mold and the floor was disgusting. I have never experienced such a lack of preparation or hygiene standards in a rental property before. These issues should have been addressed and rectified long before my scheduled move-in date.
