Review Time
I ordered a used camera and lenses for over £600. They called me to say they had advertised the camera wrongly and they did not have the camera in stock. They asked if i wanted to cancel the order and I said yes. They took my money anyway and I did not receive the camera. I think this may be a scam company - be careful.
Ordering and payment was very easy. I cancelled my order within 48 hours as it was still processing. Called the Stevenage shop and cancellation was not an issue. Called a few days later as my order was still showing as processing, rather than cancelled. Was told the order hadn’t been cancelled, but he would send through the cancellation and I would get a full refund. Called back 3 days later, as no refund and still showing as processing. Called the Stevenage branch 4-5 times as still not closed and I need the £730 owing. Advised I would pop down to the branch to discuss if cancellation was not completed.
Decided to call the London branch. Within 5 minutes of calling, the order was cancelled and I have been assured that the refund was immediate.
Stevenage branch exceptionally polite, but seemingly useless. All I’ll advise is that if you need something sorting, call the London number.
I was a bit apprehensive about buying a second hand camera on-line, but I needn’t have worried, cameraWorld were excellent. The camera arrived in excellent condition, just as described. Delivery was fast and efficiently handled. Thank you for your 1st class service!
Purchased a Drone item (Neo 2 transceiver), initially was not indicated as out of stock but was soon apparent, that these were as rare as rocking horse droppings.. However after a protracted wait (outside Camera World control) the item arrived on the predicted date, whilst many other outlets were still out.

Good communication and an explanation when the item was slightly delayed by a couple of days. These things happen. The item still arrived promptly, and it was an exceedingly good price, too.

Just when I thought it wouldn’t arrive on time, I reached out via email, and a member of the team responded promptly with the tracking number, confirming it was on its way! Just 15 minutes later, it arrived. Outstanding service that truly saved me. It's always preferable to choose shops like this over larger platforms, as you receive that wonderful personal touch. Having previously bought top-quality products from other providers in Canada without any issues, my first experience with this service was completely different. After moving back to the UK, I purchased a lens for my camera, but it arrived with problems. Despite calling within the return policy period, I was told to send it in for inspection and still haven't received any resolution. It's frustrating, especially after spending nearly £3,000. I cannot recommend this service at all.

Upon contacting the support team, I was informed they are still waiting for the item from the warehouse to ship it to me. They mentioned a 3-5 business day shipping timeframe, which was not disclosed during the ordering process. Despite the website indicating the item was in stock, it appears they may be sourcing it from the manufacturer. This has been the longest and most confusing experience with a seller claiming to have an item available. I'm open to revisiting my review.
