The Canada Pooch Soft Shield Boots are not worth buying. I bought a set of these 2 years in a row & was hoping for a better outcome this year. The velcro is of really poor quality. After about 3 weeks the velcro starts to lose its hold & the boots come off easily. The stitching on the straps also has fallen apart. At this point 3 months in, I am about to go and sew new velcro on, with the hope that they will get us through the winter. The style works well for my Standard Poodle but they are useless if they keep falling off. My pooch is smart enough that when they come off he picks them up & brings them to me. I purchased another brand of boots that were much cheaper & the velcro is great. Too bad Canada Pooch cannot sell a better quality product for the money. Do not buy.
Dog wore booties twice in our snow covered yard and 2 of them already have tears. Customer service took over two weeks to answer. Tried to give me a 20% off coupon and blame me for the failure. Total bs. Will stick to cheap ones that last 3 years instead of this crap
The warranty is quite disappointing, especially considering the high price of the product. I bought the boots and contacted the support team when I noticed my dog's paws were getting wet. They informed me that the boots are not waterproof but merely water-resistant, despite being advertised as winter boots. They were unhelpful. A month later, I reached out again because the Velcro straps stopped adhering. They claimed this was normal wear and tear. I spent $60 on dog boots that are expected to last only 2.5 months in Canada... it's unbelievable. If there were an option for zero stars, that’s what I would choose.
I purchased a pair of gloves for dog walking, and the touch screen layer was completely damaged after just 4 days of use. Additionally, I bought a set of 4 winter boots for my dog, and one developed a hole after only 1 day. Don't fall for the marketing; my review was never published on their website.
The product quality is impressive and aligns well with the images I saw, but the sizing chart is entirely inaccurate. I measured my pet carefully, and the leg length is only half of what is needed. I should have opted for at least two sizes larger. I'm quite disappointed.
The fit is terrible, and the sizing provided is inaccurate; going up a size won't help. The interior seam work is very poorly done, so be cautious about bending your pet's toes while trying to get them into the boot. Additionally, the return policy is frustrating, featuring a flat restocking fee disguised under another term, and it requires multiple photos to prove the item wasn't damaged. If I treated my customers like this, I would lose their business.
The fit is terrible; their measurements are inaccurate, and sizing up doesn't help. The seam work inside the boots is very poor, and care must be taken to avoid injuring the dog's toes while putting them on. Their return policy is frustrating, including a flat restocking fee and requiring multiple photos for proof of no damage.
The Velcro on the dog boots failed after just four uses - it no longer adheres and is now unusable. I tried various sizes, but nothing fits correctly. The sizing is completely inaccurate. I'm also paying a restocking fee each time. Customer service is extremely poor; responses take days, and the help offered is minimal.
Never again. Like others, I found customer service unhelpful in resolving issues. We're well past the expected shipping date with no updates. They claim it's due to high volume, but I ordered before the holiday rush. Shipping fees are non-refundable, and there's a $7 restocking fee.
