Me and my husband stopped in at Canadian tire on queenston rd to purchase wardrobe and we paged for a cart and help and received a rude employee named Gary saying he can't do it and that my husband better have a truck and help to load it up . Christian showed up stared to help my house and even brought it out to the truck . Gary learn to speak better in front of customers and ask if we have a truck before speaking the way you did. Thank you to Christian for your help . 5 stars to you and 2 to Gary .
Lowest I could give. Bought a snow blower, first year it worked twice and no one would fix it as it was from CTC. Finally got it fixed in the summer. Second winter it worked 4 times and again no one wants to touch it. It now sits in a snow bank waiting to become a garden ornament. I’m still paying for it! I’m 72 and SHOVELING my driveway. Thanks for nothing CTC!
I had a very disappointing experience at the auto service. I dropped off my vehicle for a grinding noise issue, which they diagnosed as a problem with the front right lower ball joint. When I picked it up, I noticed ABS warning lights that were not there before. The staff acknowledged that the sensor was likely damaged during their repair work. I was charged a significant amount despite it being their error. I even sent a demand letter to the manager referencing consumer protection laws, but received no refund. I would recommend avoiding this service if you're looking for reliable and responsible help.
The representative at the parts desk provided outstanding help in finding the right windshield wiper and assisted with the installation. His kindness and expertise in the specific part made all the difference. I truly would have faced difficulties without his support. Thank you for the excellent service!
This review pertains to a local store where I placed an online order and went to pick it up. Recently, there has been a sign directing customers to use the main entrance, which requires a long walk across the store to the lockers and then exiting through the main doors. This is quite challenging for someone my age with mobility issues. On this occasion, I noticed the pick-up doors were open, but an employee insisted I use the main entrance, despite my proximity to the open doors. In frustration, I reacted, and another individual confronted me about it. When I entered to retrieve my order, the same employee began to mock and harass me. As I left, he insulted me. I reported this incident at the customer service desk, but the employee, who turned out to be the manager, denied his behavior and smirked at me. I have lodged a formal complaint with the company's head office. This treatment is unacceptable, especially considering my previous loyalty as a customer. I will be taking my business elsewhere after this experience.
On December 8th, I purchased two $50 strings of holiday lights, but neither functioned. Along with those, I also bought some lawn decorations that were either defective or missing parts. When I returned these items, the only option provided was a refund. I would not recommend shopping here or at any of their affiliated stores. They should reconsider using the name Canada in their branding. Very disappointed.
I’m truly let down by the absence of nativity scenes both on display and for sale. The store has every other kind of Christmas decoration, yet nothing representing Christ. No baby Jesus, no star, no angel, and no holy family or wise men. Instead, they showcased a light-up dinosaur, which seems an odd choice for a Christmas theme. The purchasing team should feel embarrassed by these exclusions. It was only at the bottom of the receipt that I found a mention of the return policy for ‘Christmas’ decorations—ironically, that was the only reference to Christ I encountered at the store today.
I just experienced my loyalty account being hacked again, even after changing my password following the last incident. I lost $279.00 from my loyalty account. I reside in Quebec, and it seems the hacker was from a different area. An employee informed me that such thefts are common. Great security, right? I am very cautious with my accounts, and this is my second issue with this company. I plan to leave them as soon as I get my money back, but now I have to wait 4-6 weeks for an investigation to confirm that I didn't steal my own money. It's frustrating to be a victim twice. As always, the customer service has been terrible!
I witnessed a staff member at a store allow a young lady, who had purchased four snow tires, to load them into her car by herself. Why wasn't she allowed to drive up to the loading area? Instead, the tires were placed in a shopping cart, and she was allowed to check out without assistance. I don't consider this good customer service, and I called the manager but received no return call.
