Frustrated with Access to My Funds

I am extremely dissatisfied with this bank. I started investing with a registered company and deposited my own hard-earned money, but my account was blocked. When I visited the branch to provide proof of my investment, they showed no concern for the legal documents and questioned my deposit instead. This has left me unable to access my funds, pay rent, or buy food. It feels like I need permission to use my own money. While they claim to protect customers from scams, I feel trapped by their actions.

Regretting My Choice of Bank

This bank has proven to be the weakest link among financial institutions. They offer no help during emergencies despite ongoing credit card payments. Even if you're employed, they should have strategies to assist clients quickly. I regret choosing this bank, as it has not been helpful at all.

Disappointed with Service Efficiency

I went to the branch to withdraw from my Tax-Free Savings Account, which usually takes under 30 minutes. However, I waited over an hour with no clear updates. The consultant seemed more focused on reviewing my statements than processing my request. When I followed up, I learned my transaction hadn’t even been assigned. This level of inefficiency and lack of communication is unacceptable. I expect better service and professionalism.

Unresolved ATM Deposit Issue

On December 30, 2025, I deposited R3170 into my account, but the ATM malfunctioned, and I never received a notification or my money back. It feels like I’ve been scammed, and the bank hasn’t bothered to reach out to me.

Attempting to obtain a credit card from this bank has been a nightmare. As a self-employed individual, I've submitted numerous documents over two weeks, only to be met with confusion and inconsistency from different representatives. Customer service has been unhelpful, and I feel like I'm being passed around without resolution. I strongly advise against using this bank.

Concerns Over Fraudulent Transactions

On November 29, 2025, while I was asleep, there was an unauthorized purchase on my credit card. I was shocked because I had a balance that should have prevented this. When I called customer service, they couldn't provide answers, and it feels like fraudsters have an easy time here. It’s disappointing that I haven’t received any feedback since.
