First, there are a lot of hoops to jump through to buy the book advertised. The company tries to get you to buy so many other stuff. I rejected everything but the main Carnimeal personalized book, which is nice.

HOWEVER, the company came back a couple weeks later to charge me $30.99. Fortunately my credit card texted me to ask if it is a legitimate charge and it automatically declined it. I NEVER authorized it. No surprise this company is registered out of Lithuania.

I bought a book from this company and was signed up for an app that I was unaware I was going to be

I bought a book from this company and was signed up for an app that I was unaware I was going to be charged for. I was told I could download the app, which I did not do, I Didn't download the app, I didnt register on the app, I didnt agree to any subscription fee. But I was still charged for the first month.
I was sent an invoice for the book but after that I was sent no further communications about being registered on the app, having to pay a subscription fee, that I could cancel any fee, literally zero communication what so ever.
I contacted customer support and they refuse to refund this payment even though it was a hidden fee I wasn't made aware of. I have placed a charge back and will hopefully be refunded through that.

Check other 1 star reviews and google "Carnimeal app scam". This much hassle for an overpriced generic book with my name on it is definatly not worth it.

Caution Advised for Purchasers

I purchased the paperback and ebook along with a free month of coaching and app access, but I haven’t utilized either the coaching or the app yet. I’m excited to begin the meal plans. Unfortunately, I overlooked the fine print during checkout that indicated coaching subscriptions would automatically renew at $150 AUD. After reaching out to explain my misunderstanding, I received generic replies from the customer service team. Despite the company's policy allowing for refunds at their discretion, none were offered. While it was my oversight, I completely missed the details in the fine print. Proceed with caution if you decide to make a purchase.
