Bought vehicle from here had problems straight away made out to me like he was doing me a favour and made me wait a month for my car to be repaired , not professional in the slightest , all cars when purchased should be in full working order , don’t sell vehicles unless they are , your clearly in the wrong job .

Dont buy a car off this garage

Buying the car was an easy experiance, but we had the car just over a month the clutch went. The garage just said we were covered by insurance. The small print says they only coverd £500 pounds and you pay the first £100. What a joke . Because i went ahead and payed for the parts and labour because the garages would not touch it the insurance wont pay . Dont buy off this garage shocking service.

Avoid at all cost

I wish I had never walked into this place. Richard knows that being pushy on a sale doesn't work so he is all smiles and super helpful. And then the change. After 8 days our car had an engine warning light. We took it to our trusted mechanic who found that all the oil was gone. He topped it back up free of charge and highlighted that this is a known fault with this type of engine. A further 2 other garages also stated this. But when challenged Richard had never known these engines to be an issue. Really? But he's in the trade; why wouldn't he know? Weird. But it was all fine as Richard sorted us out and agreed a full refund and return. Only joking; he did nothing other than use phrases like "Has anyone asked you to pay anything?" While actually making no attempt to fix our problem. "You have to go through the warranty company"; yeah they were useless other than arranging for an oil drop test to be done. This showed that the car was burning 1.2ltr of oil every 170 miles. Now that this was confirmed Richard sprung into action and offered us a full return and refund. Only joking; he did nothing including radio silence with the warranty company. But I had financed the car through MotoNovo. They had the car inspected and confirmed it was a failure at point of sale. At this point Richard really did spring into action and finally did the decent thing and took the car back while providing a full refund. Only joking; he did nothing. MotoNovo on the other hand ensured he did take the car back. They eventually also provided me with a full refund. I have never been more grateful to have financed a car.Overall we ended up 5 months without a vehicle. Purchasing from Carpoint UK has been the most stressed I have ever felt. Richard happily ignores consumer law. I have made contact with several other former customers of his who experienced very similar issues. This has all been passed to Trading Standards.
