THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE DISGRACE. I recently called to get an appointment and was told it would be a month. The healthcare authorities need to investigate this medical center. I also received an incorrect diagnosis from one of the doctors, and certain staff members can be extremely rude. Medical card holders are not treated with respect. I will never return to this place, as there are far more professional doctors available elsewhere.
My family and I had been at this GP location (OldBawn) for well over 15 years now and it has really gone downhill.I had been violently assaulted in March and was depressed for months and out of work, not being able to leave my house. When I finally had the courage to leave and visit the GP to get an illness certificate the doctor here was happy to help and understood my situation.I waited weeks for my cert and when I emailed about it I was ignored. When I asked why I was being ignored I received an email telling me to go find another doctor if I’m unhappy with the service.They sent me a copy of the cert and it was for the wrong dates, the incompetence is unreal. I am broke now with no money and I am owed 26/28 weeks of sick pay.I went here for a service I paid for the service and I got nothing but incompetence and rudeness back.I am still trying to sort it out and now the doctor has apparently gone back on his word and rejected my cert? Super fishy and disgusting behaviour.When Mcmorrow used to run this surgery (before it was centric health) this would have never happened!
I’ve had insomnia for 16 years after getting a prescription for Ciprofloxacin from the centric health centre in Kilcock and they refuse to help. Ciprofloxacin is a drug that these days is only prescribed with caution. I have not slept one night through since taking it. I felt shamed in one appointment and didn’t return for 3 years. My partner has three times received a 6 month prescription for sleeping tablets when his insomnia is on and off (this sounds like misogyny to me) and my aunt is on a continual prescription for them. They won’t even address the problem or treat me with any sympathy, Doctor Brennan wouldn’t even look at me in the eye. Made me feel like shit under his feet. I feel I need support which this issue which is interfering with my every day life making it impossible to hold down a proper job,Just want to add the nurses, the occupational therapists and physiotherapists have all been wonderful.
Went to my local medical centre to get B12 injection which takes 2 seconds with a nurse not even a doctor I’ve always got it done free ive many medical problems including COPD i was told there is a new charge of €25 i walked not talking about greed its beyond a joke as if they are not billing the HSE a fortune now they want more its disgusting, but they have taken over every single practice in my area 🤬
Waited over an hour for a call from the GP arranged through digidoc. When I rang the administrator after 15 mins, I was told that I would be next in line. When I tried the administrator again after waiting an hour, no answer. Very poor service.
Centric health Wexford automatically made an appointment for me with CDM nurse without my permission. Appointment sent by text without any explanation of what it was for or that it is optional to participate. They get paid between €210 and €300 per patient participating-talk about greedy! This is for 2 appointments, one per year.Of course I refused to participate as there is a lot of information going to be used anonymously from this and I didn’t like the underhand way they tried to go about it.I spent 20 years with the practice taken over by Centric Health and since they took over it moved to a place with no parking outside the door, not exactly useful for someone with a cane and living 24km away.
Centric Health Ennis Centre has an awful system that does not work or meet the needs of their patients .while at my appointment that i had to wait 3 weeks for , I informed the dr of my main issue and we discussed options and then the Dr took a few minutes to type up a letter and notes , i then went to ask a question relating to my issue but was told my 15minutes were up and that i would have to make another apt to continue and that i was being unfair by going into the next patients time ! 15 minutes is not enough time to deal with anything ! i would highly not recommend this practice to anyone
I have had a positive recent experiences with centric health Trim. With Dr o Connor. Although a very busy practice i got my needs met and he made the referrals I needed. He is very thorough and I like his holistic approach to health. We as patients have to speak up and question results etc and take part in the responsibility for our own health also.
Centric Health service is impossible to get through to by phone. Appointments are weeks away? When your sick enough to call for an appointment you need to see a Doctor immediately not get an appointment 2 weeks later when your either dead or better? It's like a service if you have minor ailments go to to the pharmacist, if your really sick phone an ambulance. if you think your sick we'll fit you in sometime within the next few weeks. I actually filled out my own prescription online and was charged €30, like for the love of god and all that's holy that's completely taking the mick! I'm on my 9th attempt this morning trying to get through on the phone! it doesn't leave room for peace of mind in their medical professionalism when they can't even manage administration and answer the phone.
