Do not use, not worth your stresss! been waiting for a refund for a cancelled flight for over 2months and they keep making up excuses where it’s gone and it’s not a cheap flight. Easy jet have confirmed they have send the refund to a master card on the 7th of January it’s now the 27th feb !!!easy jet will require bank statements to prove the money has not been received!! scam I bet they do this to lot of people, who have forgot about their refund and they are saving hundreds by not sending a refund back over scam
I trusted Skyscanner and booked through Kiwi.com, which is linked on your platform. I requested a cancellation immediately after booking, but I have not received any refund and have been stuck in a frustrating dispute with their customer service for over a month.
It is unacceptable that a company you partner with behaves this way. Skyscanner should take real responsibility and ensure that the sites it links to provide fair and reliable service. Ignoring this damages trust in both Kiwi.com and your platform.
Please take this seriously—your users deserve better.
Used to be good in the past but now, they no longer show options for Star Alliance flights or Skyteam flights. Only low cost carrier options. Like from Europe to Asia for example. Very disappointing. It is better to check with the reliable airline carriers yourself.
To the Skyscanner Team,
I have checked the email and thank you for your response. However, I must make it clear that the core of my complaint is not simply about the refund amount, but about Kiwi.com’s illegal and deceptive business practices.
1. Deprivation of Consumer Choice through Deception:
Kiwi.com intentionally concealed the fact that the refund amount was nearly zero until the final cancellation button was pressed. By inducing me to an unfavorable "Paid Cancellation Service" under the guise of security, they stripped me of my right to make an informed decision—whether to keep the ticket or wait for a schedule change.
2. Unauthorized Use of Personal Information:
Kiwi.com made the booking by creating virtual email addresses and credit cards without my consent, and used a multi-layered distribution network to hide transaction details. This is a serious violation of the Personal Information Protection Act.
3. Fraudulent Refund Processing and Deception:
I have secured evidence that the airline and the ticketing agent successfully completed the refund on November 25th. Nonetheless, Kiwi.com provided false information, claiming that November 24th was the cancellation date. Even until January 15th, they shamelessly acted as if they had not received any information from the airline. It was only on January 19th, when their situation became unfavorable, that they offered a very small "minimum refund." These continuous lies and the intentional concealment of funds already returned by the airline constitute clear grounds for contract cancellation. The minimal amount offered on January 19th does not repair the damages that occurred.
4. Responsibility of Skyscanner:
As Skyscanner has been notified of these illegalities currently under investigation by national authorities, continuing to promote Kiwi.com’s services constitutes aiding and abetting an illegal entity. I demand that Skyscanner take responsibility for the fraudulent acts committed by your partner.
I look forward to your sincere response.
Skyscanner is super easy to use and makes finding the best flight deals quick and stress-free. I love how simple it is to compare prices and travel options in one place. Always reliable and a must-have for trip planning.
booked flights and followed link to teaflights via their website. paid over $300 for baggage extra and the 2 airlines claim there is no baggage. the site is a scam and no ill need to do a reversal chargeback via my mastercard.
CAUTION FOR TRAVELERS ⚠️
If your flight is cancelled, the service may withhold your refund for an extended period. There are no clear updates, no accountability, and a lack of respect for customers. My flight was cancelled by the carrier, and the refund is legally owed. Yet, the service continues to hold my funds. This is not customer service; it feels like exploitation. I urge the platform to clarify why such agents are endorsed.
This travel app is quite robust, yet there are several aspects that could be improved for a better experience, especially for users in Sweden.
📍 1. Enhanced filtering and search functionalities
Many users desire:
- Additional luggage filters, such as hand luggage versus checked baggage.
- A clearer breakdown of total costs, including all fees.
- Filters for airlines known for punctuality or quality service ratings.
- More detailed options for cabin classes, although there have been recent improvements in this area.
💸 2. Greater transparency in pricing
Even with the new feature showing flights with significant price drops, there’s still room for growth:
- Historical price trends should be accessible within the app.
- An explanation for price changes would be beneficial.
- Price forecasts to help users decide whether to book now or wait.
🧭 3. Improved navigation and quicker loading times
Users are requesting:
- Less scrolling to select the desired travel dates.
- Quicker loading of search results, particularly in areas with poor connectivity.
- A more user-friendly calendar for flexible travel dates.
🧳 4. Better management of layovers
Many users want:
- Clearer details regarding transfer times, terminal changes, and the risk of missed connections.
- Highlighting of potentially risky layovers.
- Options to filter out flights with either short or lengthy stopovers.
