We had scheduled a viewing of a property through the local office, but it was unfortunately canceled by the vendor due to their tenant's illness. The viewing was postponed for a week to allow the tenant to recover. Today, while reviewing our saved properties, I noticed that the house we were supposed to view was listed as sold, despite assurances that it wouldn't be sold before our viewing to avoid wasting our time. There was no communication from the company regarding this change, and I encountered another representative who wouldn’t listen and spoke so much that I had to raise my voice. No apology was offered from this unprofessional service, and it's clear why estate agents often receive negative feedback!
I scheduled a viewing for Saturday just the day before, and despite the short notice, the representative was able to set everything up. His colleague, whose name I regret not remembering, was very friendly and professional. My family and I were so impressed that we immediately went to the office to complete the paperwork. Even though it was about 30 minutes before closing, the representative took the time to sit with us, explaining the forms and various options in a clear and understandable way, allowing us to make informed decisions. He guided us every step of the way and has been an excellent point of contact. I cannot fault his customer service or professionalism. What could have been a daunting experience was made easy, clear, and relaxed thanks to the team at the office.
